A non-HTH shooty unit with better armour than Guardsmen?

Storm troopers still only have a 4+ save, and their main advantage is that they deployed anywhere, isn't it?
If storm troopers are offensive infantry, squats would be defensive infantry.

It could be an opportunity for the AM codex to cross over a FW unit, as happens occasionally

Heavy infantry, I guess? Basically tanky objective holders, who just won't budge and can take a beating while dishing out some nasty damage at short to medium range.
I don't think there are that many 3+ saves on infantry in a pure IG army.

Ogryns orr whatever the new configurations of them are called? Yeah they don't have any specialist anti tank or anti power armour ranged weapons but they can certainly fill that role.

Yes. That is precisely my point. GW facebook team information on Sisters is “unreliable”.

You must have seen a lot of complaints about the new Celestine models that us mere mortals have not .

Aren't Bullgryns only 4+ saves though? Could be wrong, never faced them, as odd as it may sound.

Between this one and all those videos that had the box with the Plastic Thunderhawk written on it have been hysterical. I love the fun that they are having. I would have liked it better if we saw them taking the Dorn Clock down and throwing it away though, since that was an ongoing joke.

BTW, Sisters players. Maybe if you didn't try to subvert literally every 40K News thread into a bitch fest about how Sister's are neglected, everyone wouldn't poke at you as much. As of right now, Sisters players are a meme in and of themselves. You are the "Why doesn't Nintendo just go Third Party" of the 40K world.

Let them be the exotic weapons unit, like a veteran heavy weapons/special weapons squad. Infantry portable plasma cannons, multimeltas, mole mortars, conversion beamers, volkite blasters.

Or go the alternate route, and have squat warbikers to replace roughriders.

On topic, I plan to grab one, and figure out what to use it for later. I have a pair of fantasy Dwarf engineers I use to bulk out my Jokaero already.

 H.B.M.C. wrote:
Nah bruv, it is funny, and constantly calling the GW community guys 'trolls' 'cause Sisters players can't handle a joke about the Sisters is getting quite silly.

I mean, you're factually wrong. I like Frankie Boyle, many people don't - they don't lack a sense of humour, they just have a different sense of humour than me. And what GW are doing is pretty much the definition of trolling.

Sisters players continually show a lack of sense of humour. I've only ever seen them complain, either about the things they don't have, or the things they get whenever something new (usually rules) comes out.

So, like the online contingent of every single faction fanbase? The other week it was Chaos players who were getting it in the neck for "whining", before that AdMech players - every playerbase has an element that complains when new stuff comes out because they're not a hive mind they're people with opinions, and every time there's a contingent of folk there to insist they should shut up/be happy with what they have/learn to take a joke. My position on which group is mostly justified and which aren't is consistent regardless of whether we're talking about Sisters.

I mean even them having to "share" the Witch Hunters book was enough for endless complaints.

A complaint you also heard at full-volume from Grey Knights, who then got a full plastic army release and their own Codex because Sphess Merins, and oddly enough when that complaint was addressed it didn't come up any more, almost like that's how things work.

The fact is the only reason Sisters players get singled out for ridicule is their complaints have been going on for so long, which is what happens when valid complaints aren't addressed, and yeah I can see why someone would be pissed off rather than lulzy when the people who're responsible for that consistent and ongoing failure turn it around and use it to make jokes at your expense.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

Your entire post pretty much shows how we're not wrong at all about Sisters players. You, Hybrid and all the others vary not one iota when it comes to your inability to see anything Sisters related as anything other than terrible. And it's not just on Dakka. It's everywhere.

And it's not that Sisters of Battle don't 'deserve' some sort of update after all these years, and it's not even that you people can't take a joke. It's that whenever someone makes a joke you act like they spat in your face and insulted your mothers.

They’re still made by Forgeworld, just sold through GW. But it’s the same with Blood Bowl.

Specialist games is a division of Forgeworld. Necromunda and Blood Bowl were designed by Forge World. The main stuff is made in plastic and sold through GW, and the add ons are resin and sold through Forgeworld, but it’s all designed by FW.

Ok, that makes sense.
I hope my FLGS can order stuff from FW then.
Not sure how to deal with all of the weapon options though. How easy is it to magnetize the gangers? The problem I have with magnets is that they have a nasty habit of making the arm rotate, or they won't fit where they are supposed to go, or its not a nice, flat surface.

Try square magnets. Kestral likes them. I have yet to try square but find round ok on very light mini arms like Dark Eldar/Eldar. I have not gone magnet crazy on the new Necromunda figs but I think round would work ok. The floppy arms can be an advantage to adjust pose on the fly with the DE.

Snip too much

Everything is going to be Forge World except the most basic gang boxes:

-Bounty Hunters
-Hangers-on
-Weapon sprues
-Special Characters

Hardly any stores order stuff from FW, it's pretty much direct order only.

I strongly suggest not magnetizing Necromunda models. I've stopped using magnets all together years ago as it just became such a hassle I can't be bothered with any of it.
