Since I don't play in tournaments it will proxy as a battle cannon
If I did ever start playing in tournaments I will probably just buy bitz and have two turrets. I agree with the WYSIWYG rule but I only play friendly games.

The new chimera looks really good , the barrel is genius mate. I agree with rogue on the stubber , personally i think it looks too big on the chimera , and takes emphasis away from the big gun. All the same the its a cool conversion. and the paint scheme works very well.

To stubb or not to stubb? That is the question?! Thanks Neil, I still have lots of work left to do on it. The camo scheme is really sweet. I am going to do camo netting on the new one and also on the baneblade re paint. Stay tuned

I think the size issue may be "forced perspective" in the photo. Can you post a couple more from different angles?
The issue w/ scale is ever-present in 40K, but if both are "stock" items and you want the Stubber, then whatever, just go with it.

Unless you are doing it for the personal satisfaction of a pure modeling experience I'd say cement it shut and put your efforts into something that someone might actually see when it's on the table.

Functionally useless, but I like the idea of having it open solely for modeling purposes. I agree I certainly have lots of projects to keep me going.
