Actually finally had two Sombra PotG's. One was an ult lifesaver one. The other was me ulting an getting a Quadrakill.

Welp literally had a match where I wanted to ask my team to uninstall Overwatch and never play again. I had 5 Golds and lost. Somehow outhealed both Ana and Mercy at the same time with Roadhog.

In other news, Roadhog is getting nerfed again in the PTR, and Winston is being buffed.

I like the Winston buff. His head is enormous, and making him get crit less is fine. As for the Hog buff I'm neutral.

I'm glad the Hook is getting an increase on the cooldown, because frankly I'm tired of being instakilled by it in almost every match I play these days, since Roadhog has practically become an auto pick thanks to the lowered skill ceiling with Hook 2.0.

We'll also have a hero other than Zarya who can counter it with D.Va's improved DM, so that's another plus.

Actually, Mei is a very hard counter to D.Va as she has the only attack she cannot eat. Her freeze ray is killer vs D.Va and it makes me smile everytime I hose a D.Va player down. Given everyone else has an attack that bypasses defenses, it is only fair for D.Va to have something she cannot counter.

Also, Zarya, Winston and Symmetra's Primary Fire pass through DM too

That's me done my last run of Loot Boxes now. Still no Mei or D:VA skin.

Actually considering the what? 10 lootboxes for the event, plus whatever levels I've done, I don't think I really got that many fancy event related things.

The key ones are: Roadhogs Introduction (food), Roadhogs skin (pig), Junkrat's skin, Junkrats pose, Mercy's introduction and Winston's skin.

I got Palanquin twice I also have event skins for Bastion, Roadhog, Mei, Winston, Ana, Tracer and Junkrat, as well as Junkrat's VP, Tracer's Highlight Intro and Zenyatta's voiceline.

Also have enough cash to buy the last bits I want; D.Va's Victory Pose and Voiceline, and Mei's Emote

So Blizzard may be considering implementing a feature that allows you to trade skins amongst your friends, after they've received a load of requests for it.

Good news for you Kit, you might be able to have my Palanquin skin if I'm feeling nice in the future


Thoughts on such a feature?

I'm more interested in their future implementation of server browsers. Is QP going away? I'm playing Dirty Bomb and the game has only server browsers at this time, suffice to say that games that are composed of people with various skills aren't fun, even less when skill is noticeably larger on one team.

I don't think QP is going away; I think the point of this is to allow you to join games more frequently if you don't mind joining a game that's already in play. I remember in the Beta that people were complaining a lot about being dumped into half played matches, and Blizzard probably responded by making you queue for a new game. This feature should let you join games like you would in the Beta if you so desire.

Sorry, I already have Luna, and I don't like Chang'e

But think of it this way; if this were to go ahead, chances are a third party trading service would pop up just like with TF2 or CS:GO for you to get your hands on one.

I've been on OW hiatus for a while, and haven't had a chance to try the main game or PTR. How does new bastion play, and are the 1v6 games fun?

The new Bastion still hasn't gone live to my knowledge, and I haven't played in the PTR yet.

General comments seem to say that it is an improvement to the character though, although there are also plenty of comments saying that he is now unplayable in any degree of competition.

1v6? Is that a new brawl I haven't heard of?

A lot of people are complaining about DR stacking with Ana boost and that tracer can no longer sticky kill a bastion.

I just went full pre-order mode... Way better than the creepy soulless popcap bobbleheads.

Since pretty much everyone has been off playing For Honour this week, I've been solo queuing a lot, and also getting into the intricacies of Mercy when I'm forced onto Support each time (i.e. every game).

God, the amount of times I've been sustaining a D.Va/Reinhardt and they go charging off into the distance, leaving me to get riddled with bullets. Or even better, playing in a team with a Genji, Pharah and a Tracer who all need your healing.

I'm missing you already Kit - please come back!

Quite enjoying the game browser. Some of the minigames are a lot of fun to play.

The Server Browser does look like a great addition. I have yet to try it.

Placement matches tonight though! God am I dreading them

Placements so far have been brilliant! After I was allowed to play D.Va, it was nothing but wins - over 4 games I only had a single Mech Death

Now I've probably jinxed the other half of placement matches I need to do...

So apparently I can do Crazy pretty well.

Had a game on Hanamura on Attack- we're all stuck at THE DOOR, you know the one, so I go Junkrat. I proceed to concussion mine myself all over the place, pulling enemy attention, getting in the backlines, and just generally breaking up the enemy team to let mine push. We won the 2nd point within a MINUTE of taking the first, 'cause I conc'd over the gap, came in the back, and prevented the defenders from setting up (Torb and Bastion).

Did some similar stuff on Volskaya defense, but with Winston- 29 elims and Gold with him, which I think is pretty cool. His smaller hitbox seems to really, really help with his survivability.

Two losses due to AFKs and a draw out of what should've been a win because one of our teammates took exception to being called out for being a gigantic racist and started feeding the enemy team on purpose. I love Overwatch sometimes.
