Yeah i can be there anytime after 3 as well, i've been going over the rule book some more but i still find the best way is to play because the rules seem to stick in the head more when theres a situation to bring them out.

4 it is then. I'll be going there straight from work, so I may be a bit earlier. and I have to leave by 8 or so.

I am pretty sure I have the gist of the whole thing. once you play a few turns correctly with advice it gets pretty simple. I even won 2 games, with no help/advice, since everyone else was involved in some big khador vs. circle (werewolf) battle.

Confirmed: 4 p.m. Legends. I will bring some red armoured pain for you all. And beware, if you attack my leader, you may just get bitten by my attack dog!

Yeah, this is the only weekend I can't. which is weird, you would think that fathers would get to do what they want this weekend. seeing as how mothers always dump the kids on us on mothersday to go shopping and get their hair done.....
but the weekend after is good for me

As for the 23rd weekend, i might be busy that weekend helping my sister/brother in law move into their new house. At this point i can be put down as a maybe, i won't know for sure until next week whether we are moving them or not.

If you guys are looking to learn how to play WARMACHINE, I highly recommend checking out Heroe's World in Markham (on the corner of Warden and Highway 7.)

The owners there both play actively (especially Andre.) They have a really busy Thursday WARMACHINE night where you can meet other players. Most of them are really friendly and can offer lots of gameplay/list advice. Also, a press ganger regularly plays there on Thursdays and I'm sure he'd be willing to give you guys a hand with the game.

I'll very likely come out tomorrow (95+) but don't know what time (depends on how the day is going), so if you guys are there playing warmachice then I won't worry about timing and maybe I'll be lucky and get there before you guys are done.

I'm thinking of jumping on the Warmachine wagon as well. I'm looking at the Cryx, because undead are boss.

Ahh spender, i thinl kungfu was talking about thrusday night, though i don't know for sure, i think he said he was busy onthe weekend. I'd make sure to check with him before you head over there.

As for trying out warmachine, good for you. I hear cryx has some really nice models, being all undead/pirate theme is gonna be interesting. Plus it's nice that you are interested in an army we haven't seen yet, be good to see something new. At this point we're still pretty new but the games i've played have been very enjoyable. Though i wouldn't mind switching up my warcaster, he seems to be less powerful than others i've read about.

Legends Warehouse will be holding their continuing Warhammer 40k : CONFLICT AT CHRISLEA CROSSROADS Tournament on Sunday July 22, 2012.

Since we all know 6th edition is just on the horizon. With everyone being new to the 6th edition ruleset we thought if might drag down gameplay so we're hosting this tournament as a farewell to 5th Edition.

The games will be 1850pts
Entry - $15.00
3 Rounds.
Top 4 will share in prizes plus additional bonus draw prizes.
Unpainted armies are allowed.
Doors will open early - 9am and game play will start at 10am.


RULES
* The 5th Edition Rule set and current codex. (Apocalypse and Imperial Armour rules
are not allowed)
* Special characters are permitted but subject to normal restrictions for that character in the codex.
* Any armour, weapons and upgrades must be modeled on the miniature. ( WYSISWYG )
* Models must be fully assembles but non-painted miniatures are allowed.
* Forge World models are allowed to represent models from an existing codex.
* No Forge World rules allowed.
* Standard Missions from the current 5th edition rules book to be used.

SCORING

WIN 6 + Bonuses
DRAW 4
Draw 2
Complete Mission scoring will be posted in Store.

Swiss Format will be used for pairings.
List is starting to fill so register early.

PLEASE PROVIDE AN ARMY LIST TO AVOID MISUNDERSTANDINGS.

Are the missions random or 1/match?

Just letting people know, I'll probably be at Meeplemart this Sunday in case anyone is up for a game, provided I don't decide to sign up for Astronomicon at the last minute (when I last checked, there was still one spot available).

Most of the Meeplemart crew will be at Astro this weekend, but there may be a few people looking for a game anyway.

As for signing up for Astro - in my 5 years of attending I've never seen someone on the waiting list not be able to attend. So if you see all the spots are filled and still want to go, sign up anyway!
