Dave although as vik mentioned fishing for complements is poor show indeed and as Vik I am not going to fall into this entrapment of boosting your ego however hearts will always be won with converting and building from scratch.

The thing is though without our little stock friends would we be here in the first place so remember creativity, inspiration and admiration was all born from our little friends so every now and then give them a little air time.

Love the ratskins dstein, cant wait to see how the delaques turn out as well. Imo it would be cool to see delaques with black skin and white coats, a sort of f you to conventional schemes!

awwww.. i know... but dont worry i have been completly virgin of computer for the past couple days, but i tried to make an apearance that way you guys dont dare go a day without seeing This Guy! (not really). Soo a question about the paint, do you plan on a. rust or ware and tear, and b. other accent colors on the green?

Lookign good. Have you considered hazard stripes to tie it in with the old Necromunda buildings?

You should add ladders to that tower to add to the immersion of that terrain piece! Other than that, it's awesome!

Great start, DST! Do you have plans for some random stenciled numbers and weathering? I think that could really make things pop!

Looking good black undercoat my desired colour for all my minis, at first I thought a ladder was needed but then thought it is either a lift in the centre column or stairs is this correct sir

I like the paint scheme maybe some hazard lines would help blend with earlier work maybe near the doors on the column, mind you sorry to say this and only mine opinion but I liked the green in the second picture more than the third but like I said thats just me.

Dude, I'm loving the terrain! I'd put that elevated bridge on a small rotating lazy susan thing so it could spin.

I used to paint my Orlocks & Goliaths in a similar pattern as my Catachan IG army, that way I could use the models together. When I went to the local game store to play a game of Necromunda everyones eyes would get big when I pulled out 100 Gangers O.O

Just looking back through some of your older post again and came across your renegade miniature Disco Stu which reminded me of a mini I converted after being inspired by that one I used a Copplestone Zulu mini and built this thought you might like

Doc the ork is laying very awkwardly on grover as it was the only way to show the gun as he kept falling on his side and you could not see the gun then

Thanks everyone, yes there will be plenty of markings and weathering, be patient, it will come.

The center column of the structure has an imagined maintenance ladder inside behind the access hatches. In game-terms, you can open the hatches and climb up or down at regular movement distances, there is also a top hatch on the cooling apparatus. I like hatches everywhere in Necromunda, I use the physical hatch for exit points when using the tunnels and vents rules, it makes for some very sneaky deployments.

men that was an awfully long wait to finally see those building... that big tower with the vent... it has so much personality in iteslf that i would like to introduce it to my firndlist here at dakka^^

also you made quite the strong progress on that bebop tower already! ... green even... how come? i thought you would be more in the blueish depatrment with the munda buildings... nevertheless this will pop greatly!

We cannot forget WHY I am doing this, To honor the original card terrain artwork by maintaining the original "look and feel". That means blues and greens

I'm shooting for the green that they used to use on hospital walls actually, to give it that old and neglected lok once the paint is chipped and rust and weathering are applied. If I do it right, there won't be too much green paint left, but just enough that you know what color it maybe used to be.
