The buildings are now looking very nice with that lick of paint! Been waiting and it was worth it, you could get away with just washing that bridge maybe some spots of rust, and done!

rofl...instantly recognized the pics...lol...yeah... quality sickness to be having after these colors...you get them in all official buildings for some reason...wonder why...all over the world...i suspect a secret society behind that...sounds like a job for the riveteers...onwards for style and better colors!!!

Yes, I think the Government painted EVERYTHING green in the 1950s, then by the 1970s, all that green paint was good and grungy

That 70's green is still used today in our hospitals a bit like the paint our health care has not moved on since then either .

@LDD- no problems bro, you'll get there. Your blog doesnt have to be about anything in particular, just think of it as a project diary. I use my own threads to remember how I did things. The mesh is circular granny grating. I had to prime it with spray paint made specifically to meld to plastic, otherwise, paint just flakes off of the stuff. It is soft plastic.

I'm a bit late - but your ratskins are cute and will bring life to the bare metal rivity-ness of your terrain. Scuttling around the girders and up and down the ladders, eating mouldy cheese and crumbs etc.

i second dave statement about not a consistent thread of your own LDD... not that i use my thread as dave does as a means to remember because as soon as a write something it is either forever inside my wetwear harddrive or lost forever^^ whatever comes first...

at dave...hmmm...the more sparkly green suited me better...but i think now will tie in better with the rest of that rotting on terrain^^... so^^

LOL @ Vik- Like I said before "he prefers the breeze" The whole structure appears to be a heatsink for some equipment several layers below the surface anyhow, but such is the nature of the underhive, we can only speculate what this ancient equipment was once used for

well... to show off a bit... my wife from time to time actually brings "junnk" at home for me to play/model with it...that is a way of her to show how much she likes it when i create stuff... tho she starts usually to yell if the said stuff is littered around for too long...^^

Here, I am praticing what I preach Vik is correct, I am preparing to airbrush, my airbrush scares the feth out of me, I lack confidence in using it. Mostly because I am overly-afraid of not cleaning it properly and ruining something, but I have now tried the windex in the color cup trick I learned from the internets, and it is working! Woohoo! great! my confidence is slowly building

mate! it always amazes me that other peeps out there have the same fears...and yours you expressed now would have been exactly my own...for the same reasons...well...be sure that i cross my fingers for ye in this endeavor!

as for the nice add...i didn´t find it in the services and existing add...

also...i think we are all able to make our own buildings / terrain...stuff... dave has lots of expierience and of course the full talent in that discipline...but that shouldn´t stop us from trying...he who never tries...will always fail^^
