Seriously though, how cranky do you guys get when the supermarket puts ten cents on the pound for oranges, or your soda suddenly starts coming in a new, improved, (smaller), bottle for the same price? 'Cause if you're ranting like this somewhere every day I gotta know where; free entertainment is usually so expensive these days….

Inflation happens more evenly, but it doesn't stop you guys from defending every single action when someone posts mild annoyance at one thing. I don't even intend to buy the damned thing, just it's funny when, to put it as one of your examples, they simply change the label on that bottle then start charging you 1.5x the price while their other bottles did the same yet only went up 1.05x instead. Its the silliness of it and the usual defenses that comes along for it that I like to take the piss out of sometimes.

The exclusive to this box part suggests the other components will eventually come out separately. What's your opinion of the terrain jonwebb? Worth the price?

Picture attached, apologies if not great. Hopefully no passing earthquakes at least.

In all honesty, while it's nice to see alien architecture and flora, I don't love this.

It needs basing up to make some clump terrain, and there isn't enough to justify £80 to me.

Two of the trees are attached to the eldar chunks.

Not sure how poseable/what options are included.

There are sets of rules for each piece too. Nothing to exciting, but they add flavour rules, boosting psychic energy etc.

Edit:I pad cameras suck it seems :( sorry.

Edit2: Looking at the rules, basically, the box is three pieces of scatter scenery with no bases. You can take each one individually, or take the combined deathworld set which is one of each.
So, one cluster of five "hedges", one base of three "trees" and one base of two "ruins" Rules state they are essentially deployed in a cluster, rather than on a base, hence no bases, but I would probably mount them for stability/ease of use if it was me.

I genuinely cannot tell where one piece of terrain begins or ends. That is a terrible photo (not the one you took, the actual photo in WD).

I think it says $220. Still a lot of money for some not particularly inspiring terrain.

I like the ruins and the plants are interesting in a tyranids sort of way (would fit how the nids turn the plantlife against the planet more actually and I feel they suit the nids more than the Eldar )

What I'm really hoping for is that we get more non-imperial buildings.

Well, I'd hold my hand up and say mine ain't great either

The individual sections are a little better, basically, its three trees, like Mangrove types, three small and two large chunks of spikey hedge and two eldar chunks with a tree on each.

I'd do better, but I have a game of AoS about to kick off, sorry.

Decided to redo my post. Not sure why I can't just post images normally but it only allows me to do a quick reply?

Anyway:

Very unsure about those Eldritch Ruins... but with a base and some conversion work they could be pretty cool.

I'm more interested in the fluff bit where it says Jain Zar has joined the Ynnari. With Altansar onside too it doesn't take much to assume they also have Maugan-Ra in the fold. He's my favourite of the set and I've already got a bunch of Altansar Warlocks converted (Incubi helms on robed bodies, they look suitably dark AF). I feel like there's another project about to start!

Hardly inspiring, isn't it. Think that'll be a miss for me. 80 Quid will buy me cities of death, with some change.
A start collecting Tzeench, is only 50 quid. So tzeench and tzaangors it is then.

Its hard to be awesome, when your playing with little plastic men.
Welcome to Fantasy 40k

If you think your important, in the great scheme of things. Do the water test.

Put your hands in a bucket of warm water,
then pull them out fast. The size of the hole shows how important you are.
I think we should roll some dice, to see if we should roll some dice, To decide if all this dice rolling is good for the game.

Fluff note, it mentions that if Yvraine finds all 5 swords, Ynnead will be reborn. Is this different than what's already happened? I thought it was already reborn.

If I had to guess?

Ynnead has had a "fragment" brought into being, not in its entire glory/power.

That would be quite interesting if true. There might be some in-fighting if that were the case.
