I don't have the rules for 6th yet, so I am sttickung to warmachine fo now. I may buy the book (or order) tomorrow

4:30 works for me, and we can definately get some games in so the more the merrier. 6th edition rules are actually pretty ez once you play some games, i found that reading them made things more confusing for me than just playing through them.

Me too, although it'll be wierd because both our tyranids will have to ally and then our SM and Guard can team up with whoever is left.

I won't be able to make it, but my buddy and his two friends will be at Legends tomorrow starting at 1:30 playing 40k. They've got 3 guys and are looking for a 4th, so if you're interested just post tonight/tomorrow or just show up for a game.

Are these the guys who haven't shown up before?? lol

Anyhoo i am free tomorrow so i'll drop by around 1:30 and see what is going on. Is there a certain point level they play?

Nono this guy shows. They are gonna play either 1500 or 500 to learn the rules for 6th. I think they're going to be there for around 2 pm rather than 1 30

Learning rules to 6th would be good... hmmmm.... I might also drop by at 2 p.m. ish to see what's going on... I cannot commit to the time at this point (7:26 a.m.) because I first have to wait until my wife wakes and tells me what I am doing today.

Anyone looking to get in some 40k games this week in prep for the tournie at legends this sunday. Pretty sure the tournie is going to be farewell to 5th still so 5E games would be on the block to try and bone up on this old rules before the day arrives. I know for sure i'm free all thrusday, as for tuesday/wednesday it might be just 11-5 for free time.

Spots still open for the Legends tourny? Their website doesn't list any info about it. I see the details here on dakka just want to double check it's still on.

I'd try just giving them a call first to see if they still have slots open. If they do you can probably pay on the day of the tournie, though you will have to ask them if that is an option or not.

Hey guys, if you look at Legends facebook page, they posted rumours that Chaos 6th is coming out Sept 1. I just threw up, but not out of my mouth.

September is so far away. But I guess it give me time to dust off my defilers

Defilers are really good in this edition. They have 4 hull points, and lots of weapons. The only one you should really care about is the battle cannon. In 5th, a weapon destroyed result allowed the player to pick which weapon they wanted destroyed. Obviously they'd pick the battle cannon. But in 6th the weapon that is destroyed is randomized. Even if the BC is destroyed, the Defiler will still have it's DCCW.

1850 sounds good. Just depends on which day you want to play. Really, either works for me.

Ok. I'm good for tomorrow at 2pm.

Cool, it'll be fun to have a game against Necrons finally. So far I've only fought Chaos twice, Tau, Black Templars and Grey Knights (the latter two being off shoots of Space Marines). Having variety in the armies I battle is always nice.

DEE, that mean D&D is possible that weekend?

Good one. I need to know if everyone can play D&D this weekend, as soon as possible. I have to find out myself. Im not sure if the "Old Crow" has made plans for me. lol. I will find out today. I will send an email out as well
