Not a fan? Or do you mean the discomfort of getting them done? Either way, I like them so that's that. It's not so bad, I've got to get them finished soon, they're pretty long but I felt they could stand to be longer so I'm getting some extention-dreads sewn in. Say what you will, but I love them.

Speaking of VW's, does anyone else find it slightly ironic that the classic VW Camper Van, beloved of Hippies with their lefty views, is from a company once funded (possibly founded. Need to check that one) by the Nazi party?

Heh.

It's real. It's got the markings "BYF 44" which means it was made at the main Mauser plant in Oberndorf some time in 1944. This particular rifle was amongst those that recently were imported to the country from Russia. So chances are it was captured on the Ostfront in the closing stages of the war.

I'll have to post some photos of the other guns in my collection (including the MP40) if you like that one.

And yes, I'm a WW2 reenactor just in case it has to be said....

I see so much stuff from the war at gun shows. There was a beat up mosin nagant that I wanted, but didn't buy because it probably didn't work.

My pa has an old M1 Garand and a M1 carbine from the war, looking for a thompson.

In my spare time i write and preform comedy, that was a photograph taken by someone in the audience (then zoomed, brightened and cropped).
i was sharon osbourne in the x factor spoof

i know its nothing like her thats part of the humour.

the audience last time loved it and we mostly get positive responces on youtube.
