Holy gak... I mean, feth. The battle literally took me half an hour. The only effective way I found to fight her is to activate the Armour and Musclemass powers and run around her in a circle throwing cars at the tentacle things and trying to dodge the barrages of rocks and homing energy balls. When the Blackwatch came along I started hijacking tanks (which lasted about 30 seconds tops) and blasting away at the tentacles, and that worked pretty well as long as there were enough tanks spawning.

Then after the cutscene where Alex consumes her, it froze.

Bull-frickin'-horse-gak.

Took me two hours. Mainly though i used hit and run tactics. run away for ten minutes then go back and hit her.

Most dungeon bosses in WoW kill you so easily. after dying 20 times, it gets frustrating.

Wow Dungeon bosses are hard? Ever tried heroic toc 10 with 1 healer? its fun, lots of fun. If dungeon bosses are hard OUCH is endgame gonna hurt. I have yet to wipe on a dungeon boss Since I hit 78. Another frustrating boss to add is: Mad mel of borderlands, the only way to do it is to DIE, come back and use a sniper to kill him.

Don't due boredome its a mass murderer!

Inboud...

Gene from Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops. Quite possibly the easiest boss I have ever beaten- shotgun which he can't dodge (for some reason, he can with every other weapon), four/five shots and hes down.

I expected more from the last boss tbh.

I personally hate the final boss from Actraiser: all earlier bosses + one or two more forms in one battle Good luck without any healing items!
Oh, and of course those darned ultimate weapons from FFVII...

Tied and gagged in the back of your car

Zinaida from Armored Core: Last Raven.

She's got insane accuracy with a railgun (typically they're moderatly-accurate, high power shots with high velocity, but she was fething sniping with it), infinite energy, obscene speed, and the ability to use a pulse cannon while moving.

The final boss of Shinobi (PS2)

In order to get enough tate to actually hurt him, you have to kill these tiny little talismans. But by time you get enough to do enough damage, he'll teleport away from you, or turn invincible for the 2 seconds that you can actually hurt him. He's nothing more then an excercise in frustration.

Lucifer from Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne

After hearing about how much of an insane melon-fether he was, and how hard the fight was, I was kind of worried. But once I actually got into the battle, I was dissapointed. He wasn't stupid easy, but he wasn't hard at all.

Brahman from Digital Devil Saga 2

Despite being an absolutely epic fight, he's easy as hell, and he comes right after the hardest non-optional boss in the game.

I disagree. I convinced Saren to commit suicide so I missed that fight but Sovereign's avatar was a pain in the arse.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

Well he's still called Saren in the game when his implants are being controlled by Sovereign. I didn't get it either until I read the official story.

Minnesota, land of 10,000 Lakes and 10,000,000,000 Mosquitos

Ok, bear with me, this one's a long one. I have a lot of things to say about terrible bosses.

First off, +1 for Matriarch Benezia from Mass Effect. I thought it'd be pretty easy, just a few minions to take down then her...about nine attempts later, I'm about ready to snap the Xbox controller in half. It takes them like three shots to take you out.

Oh, and I have to say, the Thorian from Mass Effect as well. Not so much because it's terribly difficult, but it's freaking long having to fight up the stairs taking on like 19 different waves of geth and those stupid asari. Extra difficulty since I was playing the Infiltrator class that only specializes in Pistols and Sniper Rifles...

Also a +1 for Saren/Sovereign in the end of Mass Effect. After some of the other tricky bosses in the game (Benezia, the Thorian, even the encounter with what's-his-face in the ruins) he was pathetically easy to beat. He took a long-ass time to beat using only a pistol, but the entire strategy was basically don't stop moving and you won't get hit. Ever.

And one more +1 to Jecht from FFX. The only annoying thing about him was trying to deal with him casting Stone every now and then, in which case Yuna had a Ribbon and Esuna. Jecht was a total cakewalk compared to some of the other bosses of the game, like the first time you fight the guardian of Bevelle (The second time was cake. One Phoenix Down and he's down for the count).

I'd also like to point out just about ANY boss from Final Fantasy III DS. I don't think I ever did beat that game...the farthest I ever got was Salamander. Fething insta-death attack for your entire party...

From Final Fantasy VII: Safer Sephiroth. Hope you have some really quick heals and/or auto-life. Every time I got him down any way, he would just cast Supernova, followed immediately by another Supernova. I had maybe two turns between them to do anything, and part of that had to be used to revive someone.

One more rant: the final boss from the NES game Silver Surfer. After seeing a review of it, I decided to try it out (It's really not that difficult if you manage to get up to full power...and have an autofire controller so you don't break your thumb smashing on the fire button). After spending a few days working my way through the levels and the god-awful Magic Zone, I finally got to the boss. And having spent so much time dodging projectiles throughout the rest of the game, he was completely pathetic.

Phew, rant over. God, there are some really bad bosses out there...

The last guy from Dungeons and Dragons: Heroes(really easy to kill een on nightmare)
The giant robot thing from Destroy All humans on the last level.(he'll kill you before you can get to your saucer)
The Protodeka from Star Wars: Clone Wars(2003 version[he throw a bunch of seeking missiles and the controller rumbles so much it feels your having a seizure])
The Dark Reaper from the same game. It's just stupidly over powered.
