Ferrett... I think you jump the gun. My count right now shows Dark_O at L-1, even after your vote. I'm with Lord Loss.... a rush to Dark_O is actually worse behavior than Dark_O's manbearpig rants. I'm sorry, trying to drop the hammer before we have exhausted all discussion (we have 11 days left) is playing into the Xenos hands. I don't care if Dark_O dies, but I argue that it can wait towards later in the day.

I asked EVERYONE to give Drk_O a chance to explain himself. That was a very scummy move and an obvious attempt to knock him off early.

EF seems very eager to lynch Drk_O. He says that anyone who lynches Drk_O without letting him explain is a heretic, yet he himself votes for Drk_O, leaving him two (now one) votes away from death. As LL said, I'm not trying to defend him, but the only way we citizens can surivive is to talk. Ending the day stops our talking, and gives the 'stealers time to play. And the evidence against Drk_O is mostly trivial.

At least allow Drk_O to explain his actions, and please everyone give some decent reason for voting him other than mention of a certain heretical creature.

Hardly, that would make no sense. The experiment Ijust ran made perfect sense and led to evidence of innocense for one person.

I know that I rank you as highly suspicious now. Attempting to drop a hammer (which I think you were because EF had miscounted in his vote where he last voted for Dark_O) is very scummy. However, I still feel that Lord Loss was a little overzealous in his defense of Dark_O, even if his motives could be completely benign. If we do lynch Dark_O today and he comes back guilty, then we know Lord Loss to be a prime next suspect. The important thing is that because we took some time to talk over this, we now have more information. We can still lynch Dark_O, but by drawing it out, we noticed that someone jumped to his defense. That's how this should work, we put pressure on people (for valid reasons) and see who defends who and who tries to throw other people under the bus. The more we do that, the better our chances of finding the traitors are.

Like I said. I dont defend him, but I dont think we should lynch someone so quickly. And before he had a chance to defend himself.

As for the_ferret, there are only 3 possible reasons he wanted a quick lynch on Drk_O.

1) He got bored. In this case he is a liablilty to the Imperial Cuase and a lynching will not hurt us too much.

2) He's a genestealer, acting swiftly in the hopes of a quick lynch, knowing he'd be first on the chopping block the next day. =Him in need of lynching.

3) By acting so rashly, he's drawing attention away from a possible Drk_O/Lord Loss alliance by sacrificing himself. =Him in need of lynching BUT we keep an eye on both Drl_O and Lord Loss in the future.

In any case I encourage the death of the_ferret.

Poor me Gornall... Riddle me this, who are the two people who haven't voted more than twice? I may have missed one or two, there being 14 people speaking, but notice who has the shaking hands, the.... twitchy eyes and sum up, not who has voted for whom, but how often people vote. The surer the hand, the more deadly the scalpel.

EF, if we lynch The_Ferret its the same problem as Lynching Drk_Oblit, we want some solid evidence before a lynch and we want more discussion anyway.

So you're saying that people that vote only once are likey genestealers? Very possible, but you still fail in your defence. If you truly believe this, why not say so earlier instead of attempting to drop the hammer on Drk_O?

Lord Loss: While Drk_O may have acted scummily with his attempt to increase panic (or not knowing when a joke has run it's course) the_ferret has made a very clear attempt to get a lynch without Drk_O defending himself.

There is not enough evidence for a good, clean lynch, but we are getting there. Even if you are 90% sure that someone is a genestealer, IMO its still better to keep discussion going. As it means there is more evidence to use versus other players you think are genestealers etc.

I think what he's saying is that those that are voting more are more suspicious, as they constantly change votes making it hard to keep track of them.

Did you know that statistically it was, at my point of voting, impossible to get an 8th vote without being a genestealer and revealing a second genestealer as an ally. That said, my thought experiment has yielded surprising data, no convictions mind you, but the connections linking up....

He might just be an imperial citizen who wants to die. And he might be a 'stealer. There are too many 'if' and 'buts' for me. I think we should leave The_Ferret for now and focus some more on DLS. He seemed very eager to kill Dark_Oblit.
