Even if we know someone is likely to get lynched, why do it so soon? We just deny ourselves time to find the 'stealers...

Of course, he might be trying to play the sensible citizen just to cast off the shadow of suspicion...

He's right in a way. On the first day it's very unlikely that we're going to get a genestealer. The best we can do is act on our best guess and target the most suspicious. It's entirely possible that the_ferret, Drk_O or both are innocent, killing them will clarify that.

But I must say I am most perturbed by DLS calls for blood, without regards to evidence.

I don't plan on being lynched. I've already stated the evidence that proves I can't be a genestealer doing genestealer type things. Working outside the hive mind, rare maybe but still. I am playing properly. I'm just less random flailing than you. I know ~2 innocent people with 76% certainty, I know my bets on one guilty although I have no proof, the only thing that makes what I've done "not fair" is I have never begged or worded my language such that I have professed my undying loyalty to some man on a throne in Terra. Tell me, what have I ever done that makes me so guilty looking? I won't defend it, but I am..... curious.

"Stating 'evidence' that shows you can't be a genestealer has little pull around here, despite attempting to let my actions be known I'm sure I'm high up on someone's suspect list. Yours perhaps? I doubt very much that the_ferret is a genestealer. A genestealer, in all honesty,probably wouldn't try such an obvious gambit. Heavens knows why the_ferret did what he did though...

I wouldn't call my vote for him a retalitory vote. I would vote for anyone who would not give someone a chance to defend themselves. Whether it be you, RustyKnight, Lord-Loss or even BrotherStynier.

It is better that you concentrate on voting on suspected genestealers...but yes, you're right. My argument is that while the_ferret has made a very scummy move, I'm having difficulty believing that a genestealer would draw som much attention to himself. (And I to now believe that your ManBearPig theory was just a joke you wouldn't let die, not an actual attempt at a smokescreen, it's not exactly a prime genestealer plan either)

I'm more worried about those on the sidelines who are baying for blood, attempting to remain out of the spotlight while encouraging the lynching of another. This is why, looking back, it is Dark Lord Seanron who seems most suspicious.
