The backpacks are kind of a yaw-fest for me, personally. Not that they're poorly done. They obviously aren't. I just wouldn't bother to put a backpack on a human infantry model.
I do like the torsos very much, though. With that particular design, they would make very nice looking Traitor IG torsos.

All your human infantry models have APCs/AFVs to carry their gear then? Troops carry things, that is what they do. Backpacks are a much needed accessory for the woefully lightly equiped cadians.

Yup, me too - I thought of the Volpone Heavies straight away...

And I believe the "bedroll" or "bivouac" backpacks are most appropriate...if you intend to survive, you need to carry the essentials with you, and APC's can't get everywhere.

My mandollies don't need to carry their gear. They just have to look a way that appeals to me, their lord and master. : )
I happen not to like the "soldier wearing a backpack" look. I prefer the cleaner look of him in his uniform/armor without the distraction of the backpack.

Please, note that I did not insult the backpack sculpt or the use (by others) of them. I stated that they were a "yawn-fest" (though I typoed it LOL) for me. Although I did not specifically use the words 'they look good,' that was my intent in stating that they didn't look bad.

I don't see a *need* for troops wearing backpacks on the 40K battlefield. They can look really cool that way, very characterful and all, but in my imagination, if you're a Guardsman or (and this is what I would use those torsos for) Inquisitorial Henchman about to be charged by Termagants or something, you dump your backpack somewhere nearby at the first sign of trouble, because you may need to move fast, and occasionally smack things with a chainsword.

Good point. Very good indeed. Something tells me that your troopers will be able to move fast rather soon . Or maybe they just will look more dynamic? Who knows? Well, I know, but it's still Top Secret so I cant tell more ATM . Stay tuned!

Not "Not, 1st united states volunteer cavalry - in space" models? Those would be awesome for filling a fast attack slot in an IG army.

Please be this!

This stuff is getting better and better - only the lack of a credit card stops me ordering up a Blood Axe WW2 themed army! Only saw the human torsos yesterday, but great work, with some Maxmini heads those will be ideal for my second squad of Inq Henchmen, great work!

I have for you new orc artillery piece today: 20-cm-schwere Feldhaubitze 38. Deasigned and executed by Hamster 52. I think this one is even better than our previous gun .

More pics on our website.
Also our previous Armoured Torsosos and Backpacks are available now on Ebay store.

I like the new artillery piece... Only critisicm would be that it needs a tow hitch of some kind.

This insinuates that its actually hitched and not dragged by Grots.

The new artillery is ace!

I can definitely see many uses for those wheels as well. Any plans to sell wheels as a separate bundle?

That's where the 'of some kind' comes in... there's nothing for Grots to hold onto to drag it either

Good point. Maybe we manage to add it as a separate piece to Haubitze.

Yes we have such plans . They will be available together with wheels from previous cannon. Cant tell exact date but it shouldn't take too long.

Guys just a quick one liner from me but Artur's stuff is excellent, I have been gaming for longer then my brain cares to remember and have a love of resin bits (perhaps that's why I now have no memory). Kromlech stuff is very well cast, zero imperfections and excellent detail. I have recently picked up most of the Ork range for a converted 40K army and I cannot fault it, I think I'll be ordering that cannon with my next order. Keep up the good work Artur !

This stuff looks great, I'm really interested in using the clanking destroyers as mega nobs, does anyone have or know a size comparison?

+1

I had a package waiting for me today when i got home from work, and likewise when i opened it I was thrilled to see my order in a nice blister pack. I was even more impressed when I popped it open to examine the contents and was blown away by the crispness of detail, clean castings wth no flash or bubbles, and EVERYTHING was straight as an arrow with no warping/bends.

This was my first Kronlech order, and based upon the quality (and quick shipment) I will be making more to be sure.

I also got a bonus Ork head included!!!
