I liked the T-72 bridge layer, a tri-sectioned-bridge!
Now for the Malcador, I scratch built the Bolter housing on my conversion of a French Char-1B bis and used tube stock to make them swivel. I also added smaller walls for the sections the tubes were set in. You may want to look into doing that for your Malcador.
I also gave it Las-cannons for the sponsons, making it a definite all rounder.
As for the main tread parts, when I scratch build my big tanks, I made a design template for the tread-section, like what you have on the Malcador already, and this allowed me to make the track sections with some sort of uniformity.

Are the Lascannons legal?
Because that would be cool. Really make it hold it's own all round...
Any thoughts on how to tackle the treads?
They're making me dread this thing. And we can't have that..

Yes, they cost a few points, but yes, they are part of the info for the Malcadors, I have the Vraks campaign, all three books!
Okay, my way was to use sprue sections, at just the right parts(Using thread sections) to get the right depth,m and allow the treads to rise past, and that is how the T-300 tread sections were made in my scratchbuilt monster. (Helped that I had spare treads)

Not sure If yours will have it but the product you are looking for is EITHER OOMOO by smooth-on or Mold Star 25 from Smooth-on. Both are easy to use extra low viscosity (to avoid bubble retention) RTV silicone products.

colorshapers... originally invented for smooth blending of paints...now often used for sculpting work, specially for sculpting with sticky GS and such materials... silicontips that dont stick to GS...very good for smoothing and shaping the material...

@Silver, Okay, if you are using a actual camera, do a pre-clickl, it will auto-focus for you. If that is a camera phone, check the focus if it will let you.
