Is this the Dakka I am used to? Aren't people usually complaining about having Space Marines everywhere
Orks are the new Space Marines even though Space Marines never stopped being the Space Marines.

Agreed. The sudden ork fad is getting a bit ridiculous, but I guess they've been neglected for so long.
And of course orkish vehicles are far easier to make than others if you're sculpting things the old-fashioned plasticard way -- without all that need for precision and such -- but then there's all of those damned rivets...

I do like the way the APC turned out, but I don't really have a use for it. If you really want my money, I say Bitspudlo should do a flyer next!

Ork vehicles can look good if done properly, but a lot of people egt it wrong, it's why I dont play orks, i'm rubbish at painting them.

I do think it would do bitspudlo more good to come up with orginal ideas rather than copy Gw. they could release after market products and the like. there are a lot of gw clone compnaies startign up now and i'd rather thave something orginal.

That makes it $32 for US customers...several dollars cheaper than a GW Rhino or Chimera.

Is the half-track version still being planned? I think it might look even better than the wheeled version.

If you change the currency to USD, it shows $39.00 as the price.

I noticed that as well. I thought, huh, €26.27 is about $32 at the current exchange rate. Not bad... Then went to the site and was a bit confused.

Hmmm...that sucks, todays proper currency conversion put it at just over $32.

Much like Aus customer have to pay more for GW stuff than US customers. This isn't nearly as bad and more towards what should be the case of "Money prices change, lets keep a buffer" rather than "They can afford it!"

I wonder if you can pay in euros then have your bank convert to the proper USD instead of simply paying 39 USD.

It worked for me. I just hit the currency exchange button at the top and then went to the link again from DakkaDakka. Shopping cart and paypal worked fine. Works out to a bit under $38 AFTER shipping.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better.

QFT. Paypal and most credit cards (likely debit too) will do currency conversion for you. Be aware that some cards charge for the service, so check with them first to make sure.

Hi guys. Good point about the currency rates being updated (they were from times when PLZ-USD rate was way different), they're closer to the actual rates. They still include a bit of currency-changes buffer, though, I hope you understand.

So, Bison costs now $35.52, which is a steal. I don't think it'll keep the price that low for the whole time, so you should definitely buy some

Also, if you're one of the early buyers which made you pay the higher price due to outdated USD conversion rate, please send us an email -- we'll include some bonus to make up for it!

Thank you for the explanation Tomash. Of course now you are really pressuring me to get one 'soon' lol. But I would really rather see the half-track version first.

Runnin up on ya.

Price point too high for a not-rhino. Rhinos can be had easily on GW for less or the same price, on spru.

I recommend buying from Tomash and Bitspudlo, they do quality work and I've bought from them in the past but I'm sorry to say I won't be buying any of these APCs.

Well, yeah... but they don't look like this one.

As was explained earlier in the thread, these are intended as a cool alternative, not a cheap substitute.

I get that but I think if it were priced accordingly it would reach a broader audience but I don't know if that's possible considering that's a heap o' resin. Anywho, I was just interjecting my thoughts since I've been a Bitspudlo patron in the past and probably will be in the future, just not in this one.

Cheers.
