Back to the brush. My kitbashed apothecary is finished. Painting white is an epic beat down, but looks really cool.

That is a fabulous model. Some of the best white I have seen.

Did you do the same trim on his shoulders as the rest of the guys? Looks more brass then gold. But that’s probably the fact that it’s on a white base, rather then blue.

Such a nice white....won't be that way for long if he is a combat medic, but he looks great off the assembly line.

Sweet work there 40K. Gorgeous clean whites. The brass detail work like the knee really set it off though. As an apoth - kinda do want to see that loively white with splashes of shiny fresh warm arterial spray across it - lol. Really great job though

Nevelon, yes it's the same trim. You called it, just looks different on the white.

Sgt Oddball, Ustrello, Theophony, Januine, Feindus, thanks for the kind words gents. I do plan to go back and throw some powder in this army to give it a little wear and tear. Maybe some blood splatter could also be arranged.

Speaking of arranging blood splatter, a choppy command squad is finished. I don't know if this squad is actually useful on the table top but it just seems like a necessity for a Legion. Plus I got to use one of those sweet FW banners.

Excellent Command Squad and the Apothecary is also awesome! The one thing that's bugging me, though, is the power swords, they just look a little too similar to the armour for me... No need to do anything fancy, but maybe just add some lightning or edge them in white or something?

The Apothecary is fantastic!

Them power swords is made of the same armor the dudes wear. I mean its power armor, but that is kinda a stretch for a sword

Maybe paint them metallic and use a blue wash around the hilt to do something different? Might help break up the monochrome of them. But that banner made me happy.

I should have mentioned this earlier. About the power weapons, I am going to do them all at once. I found a GW tutorial on Warhammer TV. Im hoping doing them all at once will give a more uniform look. Plan is the same for the bases. But as always, I appreciate the comments.

Ok back on track with the first 5 of a 10 man Tactical Support Squad. They will have the Volkite rifles. The other squad will be plasma.

Thanks gents. Got those first 5 dudes with the Volkyte Calivers all finished. Those guns look like serious business.

Man, a ton more. 5 more Volkyte guys, another 5 man Tactical Support Squad, 2 Vindicators, a Predator, the Storm Eagle, 5 Locutarus Storm kit bashes, then Ive got about 20 more marines to decide what to do with. Plus I may turn one of the Terminator squads into a Fulmentarus squad.

After that possibly 2 Drop Pods. For me assembling and painting Pods is like having an all access pass to a carnival of torment, but I think the army needs them. Also maybe another tank or one of those cool Rapier guns. And, of course, if they release one of these sequel games I read about on BOLS and the rumor threads here, Ill get that one too. Just to be thorough.

Yeah I skipped out on the anniversary marine myself as I have spent too much on HH and my dark mechanicus already
