Good stuff, the gold plates and helm on the Champion definitely sell him as a warrior rather than a leader, while still keeping him looking like an Ultramarine. The bikes are splendid too!

Thanks again for the kind words gents. As for your question, Ustrello, the arms and sword are all one piece. If you look at the previous post with the bases FW pieces you can see it. Right side of the pic right above the unfinished sergeant. You can see the entire piece as casted by FW. Hope that helps

I think it's a decal that he's very cleverly put a matte coat over, but I very well could be wrong.

Thanks gents. I would love to sit here and lie to you about some awesome matte finish process I used to dull the transfers, but I can't. . Haven't been by my gane shop to pick any up. I will be doing so. Truth is, it was a lucky shot with the light. In the meantime, back to building.

Azalle, dude I am loving your black and gold marines. They look awesome. I thought about grabbing some other type of weapon but the ML and HB are just too cool. And the Rule of Cool will dictate this army.

Im tellin you guys, these models are great. Whats even better is I got them off Ebay already assembled. Talk about a lucky find. They were a little more expensive than buying direct, but not building was worth it.

They are indeed - I went the route with the normal rhinos and custom doors, as WB had 30k icon doors. If they didn't I would love to get some of these painted up.

Alright, a fast update. 2nd Terminator squad is finished and the Missile launchers are coming right along.

That is a nice blue, is it GW spray or armypainter?
Or airbrushed?

Termies are looking great. Nice catch on the rhinos, I've got one which of them in my back log.

But what are you using for the bronze/gold work. Especially on the champion. I really like that and have several places I would like to use it!
