Great looking destroyers. I love looking at Storm Eagles and Fire Raptors but have only heard horror stories of their assembly.

Thanks for all the positive comments everyone. And I appreciate the empathy regarding the Storm Eagle. We may need to form a support group. Good grief, nothing about the wings and engines fit. Anyway, small update with the Seekers. I couldn't find anything to indicate they are any more elite than anyone else, just a specialized mission. All I gave these guys are a touch more gold.

How do you get your transfer to lay flat on the shoulder pads? Im having issues with my Angels Of Vengeance ones. Thank and do you have any suggestions on how to take away the shine?

Thanks Paradigm. At some point Im gonna go back and give them some pouches and grenades and such. Just for kicks.

Azalle, I cut the transfers closely as I can. I think there is some sort of finish you can buy to take the sheen of the transfers but I havent gotten it yet. So far just been lucky with the pictures.

Testors makes a decal solvent and setting agent. I have them both, but it's been years since I did any transfers.

Quick update. I cut the arms off the 8th Company captain and gave him a couple pistols. Also trimmed off a lot of the crap on the jump pack. So, I give you the Moritat.

Very nice, I like the idea! Though if we are going fluffy he should not have the aquila on his chest and possibly not the crux terminatus

In the meantime, the second Rhino is done. I decided to switch the white and gold trim. Didn't turn out as well as I hoped, but it's ok. Also kept the sizer blades blue, just to look different. But now that I look at it, looks more like I forgot to paint the thing. May change it. Got a few colors on the Moritat so he is coming along too

Yeah. Not feeling the blue dozer blades. I think inverting the gold/white is a nice touch to differentiate them though.

I’m going to agree to both those points.

I do like the first scheme better, but both it and it’s mirror twin work. And it’s good to be able to tell your rhinos apart.

But the blue dozer blades seem wrong.

Same as above I like the color switch but I am not a huge fan of the dozer blades as they feel almost unfinished.

Thanks for the input guy, ill be painting that doser blade first chance I get. The Moritat is finished and I am hugely disappointed. The model itself is one of the coolest GW has, in my opinion anyway. But he is definately 40k, does not match the 30k world at all. That's one of the things I like about the 30k world, less bling. I mean a regular 40k marine has more what nots and shiny bits hanging off his armor than a Primarch! Anyway, here he is, all ready to kill a bunch of folks.

Ok so I'm switching gears for a while. Gonna just build out the rest of the army. I started with an Apothecary and 30k Command Squad. Only 3 for 30k. Decided to go for the rule of cool, hence the giant chain sword. Which I think is legal.

Sadly, no. It's got some big gaps at the rear ramp. Some other pieces didn't fit right so I had to trim them. I'm hoping some liquid green stuff and a splash of paint will make it look good. Speaking of........

It is so annoying that you have to put so much extra work into a kit that is already very expensive to start with. The work you have done thus far is looking very good though, hope the trimming, green stuff and paint gives you the desired results.

Thanks Thraxas. I concur with your sentiment. I have a Deimos Predator, surely that will Fit better. This is the first time I've done a Forgeworkd army. Overall I've been pretty pleased with the models.

Speaking of models, I have 5 more guys and the Locutarus strike leader. He's got some Blood Angel bits on him. I'm thinking about adding tabards to them. Also a conversion from the BaC Terminator commander. I'm usually really bad at conversions but I think he worked out ok.
