Thanks Captain Brown!
Completed some small terrain for ToH and a Samurai.
Crammed it all in one picture.

Those colors are so vibrant. What green did you use for his cloak?

Thanks for the encouraging words everyone! Makes me want to jump right back to it.
Blockade, I've used Gamecolor paints for the cloak. A coat of Scurvy green over black primer. Then a highlight of Jade green followed by another highlight of Foul green. I think there's a Valejo green wash somewhere in there too. It's the same recipe I used for the Ashigaru I did at the start of this project.
I'm currently painting TTCombat's Kiyomori stage. Working on the roof right now. Only some weathering to be done and adding some moss and dirt.
I got a hold of some more terrain and bamboo to work on, together with 4 boxes of the new Fireforge stuff. All the sets except the Samurai shooters. I don't think I will ever need 24 bow armed samurai. All the rest is there though. I assembled the courtyard walls and some Sarissa rice barns. The courtyard set only allows for half wall so at some point I will need to get another set. When I took the picture it was still drying. The connectors weren't fully set yet. Normaly they should snap right together.
Thanks for dropping in!

Thanks for dropping by Captain Brown and Tommygun!
Getting the buildings done is a great feeling. Painting the rooftiles and individually highlighting is quite the chore. That being said, the kiyomori stage by TTCombat is painted up. Tried my hand at weathering the roof, turned out OK I guess. I also got a seated daimyo and some Samurai painted up.
First up, the stage.
Here's the daimyo resting at a local shrine, bodyguard close by.
I just finished with the basing before taking pics, the static grass on the models should brush off easily enough.
Here's some individual shots.
Hope you like 'em!

Thanks Warboss!
Just finished the perry villagers set, some of which were gathering dust half painted on my desk.

Also painted up sole farmland. These were 3d prints I got at a convention. Added some vallejo mud effect to have it look less flat
That's all for now. Thanks for stopping by!

Me again!
I assembled some of the new fireforge samurai. I have the start for a new test of honour warband.
This force includes 3 samurai, one of which has a mounted copy if I want to run my hero on a horse. Then there's one musketmen, 3 bowmen and six pikemen.
Planning to up the musketmen to three, add another group of pikeman and have a sergeant and bannerman.
For now I'm moving up to priming and painting this lot first.
Cheers!

Those crops look great. I love that they are on squares of earth. I'm a sucker for modular terrain elements.
