Not where I should be

@DrH, Thank you sir, thorough as always, and I agree, thank you.
@Grim LOL Thanks.
@Solar, there will indeed be many trailers.
@Anpu-adom Thank you and that is my one wish, to be inspirational.
@Gits thanks bud, appreciate it.
@ Red keep thinking I need to stick some gills on this bonnet/hood. As to hinging see below.....

Very simple on this one, it's not like it will get a lot of use. two tubes and a rod.

First layer of paint on "hood"...

And a dash...

Fitted.

Thank you for the comments much appreciated, and thanks for looking.

@ Gits and Grim, thank you sirs, much appreciated.

@ Vik, Thank you and sorry I did not explain, they are the support for the jaw....

I will be adding some nice bits like a boarding plank mechanism and a wrecking ball.

@ corpuschain I am afraid I am a bit more extreme than a bit of water.....

Yes a blow torch, I am far to impatient for gently warming so I go for the throat. as it were.

Thanks for looking in guys, about to sit down to a session so look back laters.

Nicely done as is. Needs a mini in the photo, for scale purposes. IMHO.

Perhaps grab bars here and there so the boys can hitch a ride? And a trailer hitch in back...

Thanks all.

Question: I am trying to make it orky, but at the same time give it a subtle Australian feel. Have I over done it and lost that?

@ Red, heres a scale shot for you sir.......

It is a bit on the large side, but then it is not necessarily a game piece, but I think if I do it right I could maybe get the front end to be a counts as Battlewagon.

So started on the next bit, (read no self discipline!)

Stuck some bits together...

Added wheels, needs lots it is heavy....

And a few details, round bit on top is where I will be making the BIG GUN.

Thanks for looking and all C&C are welcome and encouraged.

You can still see the Australian influence to it.
Only thing wrong with that is it's not upside down.

It is a nice shape you have to that trailer.

My honest opinion is that the trailer looks a little blocky by comparison to the rounded shapes of the cab. I mean it looks great, but less thematically linked.

Thank you for the comments Dr and Vik. And Dr it will be upside down when it gets to it future home!

@ WW Agreed, and hopefully the "sponsons!" go some way to rectifying it.

Well thoughts as always appreciated, not sure if the future owner frequents my blog, boy is he in for a surprise.

Love the Ork land train... very cool. You need to be playing some Black Sabboth/Ozzy Osborn when playing with it.... International Law requires it.

Here's something that will push that cannon over the hump that a lot of scratch-built Ork guns struggle with- get a smaller diameter tube and set it inside the barrel with putty, then smooth off the end (or just finish it Orky style).

Gun barrels, especially cannon barrels, are nowhere near as thin as tubing like that- they have to contain the pressure of the blast to direct it in the right direction.
