That one appears to be a 4"figure, so would be good for a larger pod. For a single man pod, there is a Mega Blocks version that should be a perfect size...

That's great looking, but for that price I'd almost buy GW.

For single 28mm drop pods, a pack of two lightyear pods is still only 8 bucks.

These "Nano Metalfigs" aren't bad. I've got the Harry Potter line and a couple Marvel.
Figures of adult humans are about 38-39mm sole to eye. That makes them roughly 1/43. They would probably scale pretty well with Marvel Crisis Protocol and Shatterpoint.

You can see a couple comparison shots with HP and Marvel here:

I see it!

It's a shame that the Lightyear figures weren't made in 3.75 or 4 inch scale. They actually had some pretty cool power armor figures. My son did buy one of the trucks and maybe one of the fighters though to use with his 3.75 and 4" Halo and SW figs.

I had never heard of Captain Power before, but I certainly see the resemblance.

Also the Captain Power Google images rabbit hole led me to discover the origin of a toy I had as a kid! It served alongside my Star Wars and GIJoe figures, but I got it at a garage sale and never knew what it was from.

Apparently it was a "Powerjet XT-7". Thanks!

Picked this up today. I've been looking for one literally for years, but never wanted to pay full price plus shipping from Europe. Even saw the articulated bus in this series earlier, but today I found this at the Ross discount chain 12 bucks.

Second pic is with the stickers pulled off one side and a HQ fig for scale. Good start for Urban Sci Fi and modern Transit I think. Equally good as a light rail or as a hover street transport.

Based on the mini next to it, it'd probably be slightly undersized. Probably not gamebreakingly though.

Stop the presses.

These are both 1/72 scale (for 28mm you're looking for ~1/50) but look easy to fudge and at $25 worth a try.
