Todays crappy cold rainy weather pretty much derailed my original plans.

So, I'm alternating between household chores & building more stuff from the backlog.

So far I've built:
1 random Wizard (D&D)
1 Fusil-Major on Ogor Warhulk (AoS)

And I finished the clean up on a set of Blue Scribes - ughh, how I hate Finecrap.
These scribes have been in the backlog so long I'd completely forgotten they were made of this horrid stuff - until I opened the box. :(

Gluing today because it is too hot/humid to prime models.

Oh good, its going to be scorched-earth warm for a while now...

Well, I still don't have a movement tray for them as I'm out of the Balsa wood I need to make a tray. My local store hasn't restocked their supply in a good long while so I'll have to order it online. But for now, despite lack of movement tray, these guys are done!

Tonight I will try to build the remaining World Eaters I have, a Combat Patrol box.

Got the GW Krieg guy of the month from GW. Already trying to bit him out into a Tempestus Scion or Valkyrie door gunner.

Built my 1st (non-Kill Team) Votann tonight.
The commemorative Ancestors' Wrath figure.

I got Lord Invocatus assembled last night, as well as a Jahkal Dishonoured.

My KT Ratlings have finally come in!

So building Ratlings....

I decided on my dakka painting challenge, so I worked on adding red to my BT dred, then edge highlighting. So much edge highlighting.

Experimenting with Dirty Down Moss paint.

I saw this on the bases of one of our local Aos Goblin players & thought "That looks perfect for my Nurgle stuff!"

so, after tonights game, I picked up a bottle....

Printing 4" tall human teeth. Enough for a wall to bisect a 4 foot table.

Two weeks of vacation ahoy, started work on my Aerial Gundam kit, the so-called "Full Mechanics" one at a 1:100th scale. Really looking forward to this one, the chibi was a delight to build, as were the Miorine and Suletta figures.

Also done early prep on my print of the Steiner Arena for BattleTech, cleaned most of it and when able to, will start priming the walls.

Not much painted this week. Took it easy and slow rolled these guys off my desk. Only finished them last night.

Not much to say about them other than my recipe to do their cowls can sometimes be hit and miss. I'm not 100% happy with them but they are done so, off the pile with you!



Next up probably some terrain. Something relatively quick to get off my table fast to make more space.

Also properly fitting some spare Plague Bearers to be riding D&D/PF "Hell Wasps" - for a budget unit of Plague Drones. I'm quite pleased with the result.

Been on a scenery painting binge lately, got good chunk of my terrain crate 3 kickstarter stuff out and got to painting! Gonna feels way better on the table than a select few primed pieces done as a test now that I have a lot of it fully painted! I have a handful of pieces left then I will take some group shots and all

I bought 100 regiment bases for Kings of War.

50 arrived today, I'm going to give them a coat of cheap acrylic paint, some basing material and start to make little dioramas for my Kings of War armies.

Yeah, I've got no idea why the image posted upside down & no idea how to fix that.
The only place it posts like this is here on Dakka. So I'll just assume it's a Dakka issue.

I worked on the One Page Rules 2 player starter last night.

5x Human Defense Force painted.
5x Hiveswarm base coated.

All using contrast paints.

The HDF designs lend themselves better to it than the swarm. Swarm will need further detailing & maybe highlights to finish.

A note: AP Speedpaint Metallic Broadsword Silver is a joy to use! A coat over the entire rifle and it looked amazing!

Think I’ll get my Wraithblades built.

Still haven’t decided on Axe vs Swords.

Took it easy and just banged out some quick Terrain.



Mines of Moria set painted and done! Technically

Now I bought this used years ago so its missing a piece. But that piece is just scatter terrain and not super important. The only pieces needed for the scenario are technically the Door, The tomb, The well and the trap doors. Now I just need to paint the actual models for the scenario.

I built mine earlier this year, and what I did was to give the axe in the right hand, and magnetize the left arm at the shoulders and got them a shield arm and a sword arm. Axe and sword is perfectly fine in my book for dual melee weapon, so I get to chose between both easily!


On my end, I think I finished my batch of scenery painting for now with my second Imperial bunker. Still have a Bastion to paint, but got a second one from the most recent MTO and it still not delivered, will do both later together.

So now I have a large part of my Terrain Crate 3 kicksarter painted (the ruins + most scatter terrains). I have the Alien planet stuff left to do that we'll work on later.

Go for fighters, Destroyers are a bit meh
