This lad all assembled.

Loads more to go, and I’ve been well lax on my painting regimen.

It's amazing what I thought I ordered and what actually showed up.

I've gotta know now. Please tell, dude.

Nothing major, I tried ordering the resin Custodes Captain for my roommate's new army as a belated birthday gift, and they sent me the new plastic one instead.

...and his new army is driving me insane...err.

Trying to help my roommate build a Custodes list. I'm not used to an army having so many units!

He likes the new Detachment where for one command point, you can turn 6 of the Custodes Terminators into 6 different 1-man units.

But he has no resin in this list, so I can't steal the usual builds off the internet which assume that you can spend a couple grand on Resin Tanks, Dreadnoughts, and other cool toys.

Argh! We field tested his list and he has a block of led by a Blade Champion that ate multiple Armiger Warglaives, very quickly I might add, and then after I finally got rid of the bastard, he rolls a 2, and gets back up with all his wounds back!

Haven't really sat down and focused on painting much since I finished my last unit. However I did manage to get this detachment done pretty quickly over the weekend. Not much just 5 Handgunners.

Just another unit that was sitting there not painted for awhile. I have something like, 40 more handgunners to paint, but Im going to continue to focus on whats sitting on my current to do pile.

Continuing my mini clearing, here we have four Oathmark Dwarf warriors. I had bought a loose sprue online just to check them out.

Overall nice minis, although I wont be using them for Oathmark. However they will work great as troops for Frostgrave.

Jeez I just realized just how many primed, unpainted minis I have just scattered around my house...this is going to take awhile.

The long slow desk clearance continues....

Two old metal netters! I have 3 more that are waiting to be primed but since I wanna clear my desk they will have to wait. I also have something around 120 Night goblins that I really should get around too as well to pop these guys in.

So counting I have around 31 primed minis on my desk to finish painting....Ugg, I'm so lazy when it comes to finishing projects...

Redoing my gaming budget as the Adepticon Preview showed me I have nothing to buy until the end of the year at the earliest.

And I will not be spending a dime on the Grey Knights.

Guards of Traitors Toll has arrived so a mix of reading the book again now I actually have the cards.. oh so many cards.. and thinking about how to start to assemble the models.

Well worth reading the book before even starting that as is does matter.

they came with bases! though the plain but still good Wargames Atlantic ones with the little hole for a magnet. Models have puddle bases, meah, was thinking of removing them and using cobble bases, think I'll leave them and just add some textured filler and be done with it

yet more to do..

hopefully also finishing the airbrush prime/zenthal on some of the Dungeons & Lasers NPC models later also

Another unit finished and moved off my paint desk! Two River Trolls I had based back in the fall to finally finish up my Troll unit that I started painting in 2020...So as you can see I'm a bit behind.

With that done the unit is complete!

Well, I still don't have a movement tray for them as I'm out of the Balsa wood I need to make a tray. My local store hasn't restocked their supply in a good long while so I'll have to order it online. But for now, despite lack of movement tray, these guys are done!

I learned the best way to do camouflage with an airbrush is to use silly putty.

Now if I only had something big to paint.
