For those of you who are curious, that female Brute Thrall will be at Lock and Load AND on PP's online store for the duration of Lock and Load. Confirmed here.

Because of 1 model?

Maybe 'counts as' some other model?

It's more likely that he was already considering dropping Khador, but wanted to see what they were doing with his favorite warcaster for the faction.

But, since the model didn't look good to him, he decided to get out of Khador.

Seems a bit...extreme, but such is our hobby at times!

I still think there's got to be some model out there somewhere that would work in a 'counts as' role - certainly if playing your favorite faction hinges upon it!

Still seems unreasonably knee-jerky.
Edit: And those models are gorgeous.

So did Zerkova lose an arm? She doesn't have a hand in the 360 view on the PP page.

Ok, I have not been liking the Khador infantry for alot of time nor the Khador Playstyle.
But my favorite Char has bee zerkova.
So, I said if she looks good, and looks awesome, I will continues.....and she is just bad. So boring and Undynamic, just ugh.
That why im considering selling. That and the Wm/H community is toxic here with a bit of "Hoilier than tho" attitude"

Goddamn, yes- it feels like the majority of the community is ex-GW players who think PP is therefore the best thing under the sun. It's basically impossible to say anything with content in any venue related to them.

...However, I'm also a Zerkova fan and thought that model was actually enough to consider digging out my old khador army, so different strokes, an' all.

No, she's just got her arm under her coat like a Boss.

She's not left handed either.

That's WM/H communities for you. We had my old club clapping when the first week occurred in which there was more WM being played than 40k. I left that place soon after

And at one of my stores there's people who play both and other than that no one really says anything about the other game.

At the other store, the 40K (and some of the non-40K, non-Warmachine players) make jokes about Warmachine, I make jokes about 40K,we laugh, and then sometimes we play Dropzone Commander together.

Madness!

EDIT: But I forget apparently every FLGS that isn't the ones I go to is apparently a lawless wasteland run by Watto from the Phantom Menace and overrun with gangs divided by favorite game.

The store I play in is fine as well, no butts hurt what so ever, it's less typical than you think.

Oh, I understand it's less typical, I'm not painting the whole community like that, one guy told me I could make a charge and kill his caster and reminded me harkevich has pathfinded. And I killed his caster and won my first game. But the community as a whole is very waac/tfg and uncompromising to new players here.
but, I'll try it again over the summer and see if I like it.

I won my first game as well and was quickly rushed into 50 point games where my opponents became relentless.. It made me a much better player but was very harsh and almost made me quit, I noticed a lot of vets don't have the patience to teach new players and hold back a little bit, your local Press Ganger (if you have one) should be your best resource.

After each game I lose I always talk to my opponent about why I lost and we discuss the strategies I could have used and such. I've found the WM players to be a bit more serious but just as friendly.
My last game I got stomped by a colossal and he told me what I could have done to beat it and said "next week I'll bring it again and we'll try out a new strategy. Sound good?"
It'll be harsh a first and you'll lose a lot of games, but once you start 'getting it' it becomes so much better.

Its easy to confuse WAAC with a healthy competitive attitude. Most wmh players are perfectly fine people, its just some 40k players, especially the casual ones, bring their preconceptions of attitude into wmh and it gives them the wrong impression.

I think it's this, WMH can be very unforgiving to mistakes made. The way I see it, I can not take advantage of the caster kill my opponent gave me on turn 2 for purposes of a "fun" game. Or I can take the caster kill and explain why he shouldn't have done that. I choose the latter, because I believe that's what WMH is about, if that's not for someone that's cool.

When I first started playing WMH I almost quit because I was getting crushed over and over and over (I was even carrying over good 40k habits that are bad ones for WMH), eventually though I learned and now I'm sort of mediocre

I'm hoping this level of quality applies to the local players in my area. I'd like to play some more official type games when I've got a chance to this summer.

The ones I've met in my area have been... interesting.

I'm fully expecting to lose, but as long as I lose fabulously I could care less.

Hopefully those new Skorne bugs will be out by then and I can knock over my opponents figures every time they try to get in base to base with them.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Until you're really used to the game, you'll lose confusedly more than fabulously.
