The game isn't really about mechanical novelty.
As I said on page 1 EDIT: page 2, the game is about creating non-mechanical goals and enduring.

I'm attempting to build up Necrotech skills now so thhat I can aid in rezzing folk as well.

Started in Houldenbank which is just about as far away from Chudleyton as a guy could be - you guys suck! 
I've made it to Crowbank and will be staying in Clinch Way Police Dept. which is strongly barricaded (but I could still enter it?!  ) and also occupied by another Newbie...
Will keep trying to head to Chudleyton and avoid teethmarks.

Vinetown is a lovely place. You should have been able to find plenty of welcome there. Chatwin Library in the NW is always VSB so easy entry to pick up medical supplies at Gelasius or guns at Goodford Road.

I have alts both just to the north and just to the south. Zombies are very, very active in those areas. Move due west and do it fast.
