The rivets are just little balls of GS superglued down, wait ten minutes, then smooth the top over until it looks like that. Simples

hmmm... i´ve read about the superglue and GS methode... sounds like a good plan... how did you keep the size of the rivets so in line? sausage of GS? the chopped in pieces?

guestimation lols, I just pinched off an amount I thought looked and felt right and rolled it into a ball. If that proved to big I just pinched a little off with my nails. I've found GS isn't an exact science, so I go with whats right at the time and leave it along when I complete it, otherwise with my head as it is I'd go bat-crazy and redo everything I've ever GSed lols

I am disapointed as well.. and sadly i know that feel. my poor guard blog.

Well for now I'm focussing on the writing aspect, and hopefully as I'm writing I'll do some more modelling and painting along with it...

Currently "The Penitent man" miniature is nearly finished, and "Lord Huginn Black" is in the concept stages. so some time soon I may have built some stuff

that title reminds me strongly of indiana jones and the last crusade...

by the way... read through your second part...

and tho i liked it i didn´t understand why it ended so apruptly... and why huginn had to describe so much about the planet and the solar system... not that i didn´t apreciate the description...they were quite imaginative

oh and one other thing... did you invent the picture- mind device? or is it official fluff?

It's something I invented for the piece, although there are holo emitters on bridges of imperial ships for star maps and such. I just figured the inquisition would have something that projected stored data for torture purposes.

I decided upon the lengthy description because of having an opening testimony which flowed on from the previous chapter, and subsiquently the thrid will flow on from the second.

It's kinda odd that I'm making the Penitent Man and I havent even written him into the story yet lols.

oh... i misstaken the penitient man for huginn... so he will be another major player in that scheme?

and don´t get me wrong... i like the descriptions...

I hope that "foundations" fits in nicely amongst the rest of the story, I'm glad you raised those points but I'm just worried that that section is out of place. but I'll wait until friday when I release "Silence" for more feedback.

lols, it's not a lack of confidence, I've only ever written poetry and a short macarbre victorian scene before. I have never done anything on this scale, so I honestly didn't expect this kind of response lols.

i think when my job thingy starts for real and school time is making me sleepy i will give the fluff writing a go too... in class, so everyone thinks i am the productive and attentive kind of guy ^^

it was an attempt to start a full blown story reinventing the Arlechinno and Columbina stories from the Commedia Del'arte from itally. I ahd reinvented them visually for a Uni project, but I wanted a full story for them, and this was my attempt to start it. Unfortunately I got way too over the top with it and side tracked... it's still floating about some-place, and I'll finish it off at some point... I've just got other focuses currently lols.

Its a renaissance circus of performing arts really, it died out with the times unfortunately.
