Man, that looks nice. I may have to pick it up when it comes out (ahead of other games such as Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed).

I'm pretty sure I'll be pre-ordering it. Hopefully it will at least be decent. I'm not expecting it to be the best sports game ever, but if the controls are decent (my biggest fear) I'll be happy.

I don't think game designers make turn based games any more, which makes me really sad.

Check out my other post about "Commanders" in this forum. That baby is turn based.

They are still out there, but not common.

Portable systems seem to be the most common choice for turn-based these days. PSP has several and the DS has a decent amount as well. If I could be buggered I'd list them. Maybe later if I'm feeling nice.

From what i hear. This game is both live action like Madden and Turn Based. That should be interesting

I've read a preview in the Games For Windows magazine and it includes both turn based and real time modes. Hopefully it will be a Xbox Live download and not a $60 game.

This is the game that will finally make me pay for my xbox live sub, I mean whats not to like, if you want it fast and loose you play Madden style, but if you want a more tactical approach, use the turn based system.

Can't seeing it beeing anything but an awesome game, although to be fair I've been a Blood Bowl nut since 1989, so I was gonna love this game. Just a shame we can't have the old teams style over the 'we actually pause our endless cycles of bloodsheed and warfare to go play some nice sport at the weekend' Warhammer armies approach of 3rd ed.

But regardless, can't wait.

Do we have a time line for this game? Like when its going to be released?

My memory isn't what it used to be, but I have an feeling it was autumn 08.

Might have been summer though. July-Oct would be my safe bet, unless it slips down the schedules of course.

My interest is piqued. I don't have a 360, but it looks like it could be a lot of fun.

I love Blood bowl I have 5 teams and currently half way through a small league season.
I heard that this might be multi format... turn based on ds would be nice!

I played the PC version of Blood Bowl to death (Outlasting the many bugs that could ruin your season in a single click) and loved it.

Miniature Blood Bowl (3rd edition) has the best game rules that GW has ever produced.

I will buy this game and probably wear out 3 or 4 controllers playing it. I have more faith in this offering than Warhammer Online. This one will be a lot of fun.
