Can we get a roll call to see who's planning on attending?

I am planning on heading up on Saturday for the day with Dave Taylor. Should be fun!

Planning on being there at least Saturday for the 40K mini campaign. Trying to free up the schedule for the other days.

I should be up on Friday and Saturday, willing! I'll definitely be there for the Fantasy mini-tournament!

Salvage and I should be there Saturday and Sunday, barring ridonkulous snow. Hopefully some of the skin on my fingers will have time to grow back after the frantic volume of painting

Yea, I was starting to get nervous about possible snow shenanigans next weekend too ... but the forecast for now looks light on snow but heavy on the warhams!

Also, make sure you come on time Saturday morning if you're doing the fantasy mini-campaign, fellas! We're up to bat first and I think the 40k mini-campaign will happen after so we gotta try to start rolling dice by 10 (so arrival between 9 - 9:30).

Sounds good! I should have the 2000 list painted by this Friday, and might finish the shrine and sorchimera in time for Dakkacon. Or I might just properly do the bases of the 2000 point lads :-P

Well, we could move the start time, but I figure it's better to get going early, and shoot to have the fantasy mini-campaign done by around lunch. That way we can all try out our larger armies in pick-up games afterwards, or do the 40k mini-campaign for people who play both systems.

Also, grey_death wants to participate in the fantasy one and is running the 40k one... so we gots to get steppin' so that he'll have time for both!

Classes are going to have me in the "get up and out the door by 830" mind set anyway, and no matter how groggy and reeking of girly drink booze Salvage and I are, we will be there! Mrs Wehrkind might give it a miss until Sunday though.

Naw, is all good, means more time for some nice games of Laidbackhammer afterward So since I'm apparently coming down Sunday too (originally I was racing back North to prep for class the next morning, but now my week begins on Tuesday), is there still a tournament* happening? Or was that only 40k?

*Ironically, there are (unrelated) 2500 point fantasy tournaments happening in Albany on both the 22nd and the 23rd

I'll be hanging around at least through the early afternoon of the Sunday. Would be up for a pick up game of WFB then, Boss (2500pt?)

I as well will most likely be dropping out. The wife picked the 21st to go out for her birthday, so I'll probably be too broke to drive down. But I'll pop in if I can Saturday or Sunday.

By the by, one of my friends from college (ie. LONG time friend) is going to swing by too probably Sat and Sun, so anyone who wants to board game it up will have her as a ready opponent. Dominion, Catan, Chaos in the Old World and ten or twelve other games are on her proficiency list.

Neat. Philly is only a 45 minute drive or so from here. Too bad I have school Sounds cool though!

I can bring Catan with me... I actually have the six-player version . Could be good for any down-time, or if we get warhammer'ed out, too!

There's also a vague possibility that my wife would be up for a game of Settlers of Catan, but I'm going to leave that at "vague" for now

Yea, I will probably throw 6 up Catan, CitOW and Dominion in the car. Doesn't take up much space, after all, and as you say it is really good for downtime between games, especially as pretty skilled players can get a game done in ~40 minutes.

I'm gonna try and be there for the 40k mini in the afternoon. maybe a pickup game also.

Yep, Mike has the space right there in the mall, if you can't find it you can just ask at his store; both are on the first floor and should be pretty easy to find

I think it boils down to: Hang out on Friday evening (Ruby Tuesdays) if you can make it!

Then Saturday:
Morning, Fantasy warbands starts (rolling dice by 10 a.m., arrive by 9-9:30)
After lunch, 40k mini-campaign, open gaming for fantasy.
Later on, probably some craziness, board games possibly, or going to find cheesesteaks (this is what I'm hoping for ).

Sunday there is a 40k RTT, and I know Jin and Boss_Salvage will be sticking around for some fantasy open gaming. I don't think I'll be gaming Sunday, will probably be seeing the Philly sites with the wife, who is generously tolerating lots of wargaming this weekend

The RTT is actually on Sunday, that way folks can get in all the open gaming, and some that want to stay over can play in an RTT before heading home. Alex from Boston Brawl is running the RTT.
