First complete shot I'm happy with. This thing is the devil itself to photograph. Scored silver at GDUK2012, beaten by the Sword Winner. More photos will be added to this thread and showcase threads as I get decent ones.
The piece that took gold was stunning; whereas mine went for action overload, the winner was far far superior technically; although I have to confess I spent all my time looking at the (perfect!) banner and neglected to even look at the vamp's face! Different pieces with different things to offer - I certainly have no complaints about the result at all! Mario Delgardo and I were trying to defer to each other behind the stage as the awards were being called; it was quite fun. I really like diorama as a category; theres a lot of creativity and thought that goes into it; a very wide field to play in.

That banner was insane, but I still like yours better overall. The action pieces are always more entertaining than any stand alone (or mounted) piece imo. You've done an amazing job and have every right to be overwhelmed with pride. This set piece is amazing and truly captures 40k.

I prefer a more "action" oriented shot. I would have gave this top spot. The dragon is nice but damn this looks like a real battlefield in the middle of a real battle. The sense of movement and action is so overpowering.
You did a hell of a job with this and you should be proud

He's selling it?! Aint nothing worse than busting your gut to do well, and not winning (when you f**king well should have). Yet the winner acts like a complete douche and sells his prize. Sell the mini, sure. But prizes are to be kept. this doesn't even affect me but it's  ing me off alot...
