Very recent and well kinda not my kill but Ill share.

Today in a >1500 game, playing space marine vs new Chaos daemons. had cleared almost all of the enemy's model off the field as he had killed almost all of my models, and had i believe what was a daemon price of nurgle (had like 6-7 wounds and iron arm from biomancy (basically wasn't going to hurt it)) but at the beginning of his shooting phase he rolled a 3 iirc getting punished for like 6 wounds back into the warp tabling him self. clearly tzeench was having way too much fun

I was playing IG versus space marines, we had one objective in the middle of the field, most of my units were either in the ruins by the objective trying to kill the 2 tac squads nearby or dumping auto cannon rounds into some deep striking assault marines. The game begins to get close the end, when I move my ccd into the ruins where my enemy had just deployed his termies. My company commander whips out his las pistol and one-shots a termie

My HQ is a barebones SM Libby and quite a pacifist by nature. He never kills anything in CC and does nothing all game besides casting Null Zone, Avenger and dying at some point.

In a recent game against Tyranids, he is alone (not attached in a squad) and charged by 12 gargoyles.
Surprisingly, he passes all armor saves, heroically survivng, but as usual scores no wounds. Of course, we remained locked in combat and this goes on for 3 turns!!!
During the fourth turn, after the passes all saves (again!!) he decides to kill 2 gargoyles thus winning combat! As i had removed synapse creatures from around, the gargoyles lose the morale chack and the Libby single-handed proceeds to sweep them off the board!!

My most epic and proudest moment was in a Massive Chaos vs Imperium (me) APOC 5th edition Game between myself and a friend. In the Final turns of the battle, there was hardly any units left, both armies had layed waste to each other and the battlefield was full of death. The Imperium still held onto the gates of the city with a a squad of imperial guardsmen, Captain Awesome and his command squad and a few scattered space marines.Earlier in the game, Abaddon entered the field of battle with his retinue of terminators which had slowly been picked off over turns and they managed beat off multiple CC engagement. Abaddon drew ever closer to the gates of the city, into the charge range of my commanders position. The last defending squad of guardsmen charged out of their building to interrupt Abaddon's quest to kill Captain Awesome. The Seargeant drew his las pistol, and fired at Abaddon, hoping to draw his attention away from the Commander. Luckily for the Sergeant (and indeed the whole Imperium), Abaddon had 1 wound left, and his las pistol shot managed to penetrate the vital region between his legs and take away his last wound.

The remainder of the Chaos forces retreated from the ruined world, Imperial reinforcements arrived, and Abaddons head was placed atop the City Gates.

It was a beautiful game...

Well in the last 1500 pts. game against Ultramarines, i was trying to get my ethereal killed.
He finally got charged by a 3-man assault marine squad and i was sure he'd meet his doom.
But then what happened.. He killed 2 of the 3 assault marines and didnt take a single wound.
One marine even had a powerfist too, he hit with one of his attacks, but rolled a 1 to wound.
The single marine then failed the test and was forced to fall back. He was then shot to pieces by firewarriors.

All of this didn't really matter anymore, i won by a Wipe-out.

One Zoanthrope charges 10 chaos marines, and after making all of his 3++ saves, does 2 wounds, makes them fall back and sweeping advances them

Ummm... I would have to say when my Dark Eldar Duke sliscus lost in close combat to eight fire warriors. He had to take ONE 2+ invulnerable save...

Space Marine Captain on a bike charges a 12-man squad of Fire Warriors. Overwatch deals him three wounds, of which he fails two. In assault, he whiffs every attack, and one lucky punch from a Warrior knocks him out cold.

My Eldar Pathfinders did snipe a fleeing Weirdboy once and wounded him. Didn't kill him, the snake eyes on the random power table causing another pair of wounds finished him off.

Under 3rd or 4th rules, I once had a unit of Gretchin with two Kannons destroy the Necron player's monolith first shot of first turn of the game on a glance and 6.

The same player and I played a very close Space Wolves vs. Tyranids game in which the last three turns were basically my tyrant, psionics and tons of attacks, failing miserably to do anything but tear all the weapons off his lone remaining model, a LR Exterminator. Which proceeded to kill the tyrant at the last possible moment by double 6 to hit and then wound, and me failing two 2+ saves to the stupid pintle storm bolter: the one weapon left.

Last game against CSM, my friend had a brand new Heldrake. It came in in turn 2 and killed my Hornet. In my turn 3 i snap fired it with my Shaken Wave Serpent tlBL and threw a 6 straight up. He failed his save, and again, i threw a 6! BOOM! Altough i lost the game in the end, i will savior the moment...priceless...

Had a game back in 4th. I played tyranids against guard.

My brood of 3 biovores gets shoot to pieces by a scout sentinal. The sentinel assaults the last remaining biovore.

He does 1 wound, i save on a 6. 1 attack back:

Hits on a 6.
Glans on a 6.
Destroyed it on a 6.

And the explosion fails to wound the biovore.

He got so mad... He still gets mad, when we talk about it, even though it's 5 years ago :-D

A fleeing grotling snaps shoots at one of my terminator, wounds him and then I fail his armor save, next turn he proceeds to run himself off the board.

Not ever 5 minute late, 3 LC terminator assault trought cover against 4 grotling, they strike first, manage 2 wounds, and then I roll snake eyes.

This whole match went so badly it was really funny.

Back with the awesome 3.5 CSM 'dex, i once ran an UBER-CHEESE squad of Chosen Aspiring champions, all with power weapons, and Daemonic Mutation (+1 A), all as a bodyguard for my insanely overpowered cheesefest of a Daemon Prince. All marked with Khorne, each and every one a game-breaking combat character....my buddy charged in with maybe....50 points of Grots (so like 20 or so?).

It was over in 1 turn....all 5 of my chosen were swamped and failed about a bagillion saves....and Prince Beardy's Dreadaxe failed to wound anything, and he was brought down screaming.

They just dont make water hot enough to wash off that kind of shame.

wish they had this thread in general rather than 40k because I have some truly ridiculous kills/deaths in LotR, but hey.
Had Yarrick charge and slowly kill Sicarius and his entire command squad. He just kept on getting up

Most epic I've had was Lemartes...

Vs 'nids, 2k,

The BA were nearly crushed on turn 3. The DC makes it to the battle. Lemartes jump DC squad was nearly popped by genestealers, but retaliated leaving Lemartes wounded and only two fellow DC left. They consolidated into some terrain facing a swarm of termigaunts (12).

They shot on their turn and didn't get any wounds as their remaining bugmonsters started moving back across the table toward them. The gaunts assaulted and were wiped as I rolled all hits and all wounds.

The DC consolidated toward the tervigon (still over a foot away). Leaped to him and due to furious charge, gave the bug a bunch of wounds to deal with in the dead pile...consolidated back from those psychic bugs with a S10 hit.

They moved in and killed one of the last two DC, but Lemartes leaped in again and killed them, then boldly moved toward mawloc.

Mawloc assaulted and rolled like ubershite and caused only one wound which went to Lemartes who made the save. The DC retaliated and only scored a few wounds. The nids remaining forces were hiveguardand they even moved toward the fray. The follow up assault phase proved no different as Mawloc only landed 1 hit from craptastic rolling...even the hive guard who assaulted in nabbed two wounds that were saved. Mawloc's wound killed the remaining DC and Lemartes turned on the beast hitting 5/6 times and getting 4 sixes on the wound...dude was pissed. The big worm was done and the hive guard were toast the last turn of the game.

Dude was a beast.

I had an Aenonstave hit AND WOUND a deamon prince once... The Chaosplayer raged... xD

3rd edition, 1st turn Whirlwind shot onto a Raider full of a tricked out Archon with loaded Incubus squad. Open topped skimmer that hadn't moved yet, penetrating hit 6. Transport and all models destroyed, game essentially over.

I had a friend playing necrons with the old codex back in 5th. His monoliths were notoriously hard to kill. He would usually just run them up and vaporize my army while his troops hid behind them.
One game he has two monoliths moving up the table side by side with 2 blobs of 20 warriors tight up behind them all well covered thanks to terrain layout. It looks like all hope is lost and I will lose to essentially an army of two monoliths. I fire my last remaining(immobilized) vindicator at the monolith on the right, and it scatters perfectly to hit both monoliths and a bunch of the guys behind them. The center hole of the template actually touched both monoliths hulls, as they were right up against each other to prevent me from shooing between them. Not only that, I BLOW UP BOTH MONOLITHS! After the wounds from the vindicator and the exploding monoliths are resolved, I killed all but a few necron warriors. Now no longer in cover, my few remaining marines mop them up, and it causes him to phase out! It wasn't only the greatest single shot of my whole gaming career, it was also my greatest come back.

In a tournament , I shot at a daemon prince with 6 bolt pistols and killed it , I handed him 4 wounds with insane rolling ( gobs of 6s) and he missed all 4 saves and to add to it , it turned sure a loss into a draw , it was the last shooting of the game on the last turn .
