Just wondered with all the technologyand millennia of training that armies have, what's the most ridiculous kill / carnage that you have managed to pull off?

As a Tau player, I had an IG Vendetta fly over my 'rubbish kroot'. Said 20 kroot were within 12" of said rear armour of Vendetta. of 40 snapshots 13 managed to hit, then of that 5 glanced.

Vendetta then crashed to the floor, missing any nearby Tau units and 9 of the 10 Storm troopers inside died. Said guardsplayers jaw hit the floor in disbelief.

I have to say, My most interesting one was a game against my brothers Necron.

We were playing the Relic, and his squad of immortals had the relic, I had first blood and kill the warlord. My lone remaining Plasma cannon, that he'd neglected to kill off with the rest of the devastator squad,

The lone plasma cannon, managed to kill all 5 of the remaining immortals in one shot.

Once had a broodlord demolish half my opponents army (to be fair, it was 5th ed Tau). Another time I had a genestealer solo a guard blob (a small one).

Teaching my gfs cousin to play 40K. He took my Orks. Managed to get Ghaz and his Nobz to charge my Crusader squad.

Of course, like the idiot he is, Mr Emperor's Champion steps up and challenges the Baddest Warboss in the Galaxy to single combat.

And whiffs every swing.

Ghaz comes back with 6-7 Power Klaw attacks. EVERY SINGLE ONE HITS.

EC is a now a red mist.

This one last week. A Furioso Blood Talon Dreadnought harged my 30man Termagant squad. Didn't kill them all. Not only that, but that same turn, the allied GK stormraven took a glance from Perils, crashed right on top of the Dread. Didn't kill any Nids. Killed the Dread, who exploded, and killed a Scout to boot. And then the 3 BA Ravens tabled me.

A chaos player charged at my Shas'o with his Khorne chaos lord, challanged as he has to (rendering the lone beserker that made it that far useless)
The Shas'o continued to punch him to death in 1.5 turns (his assault, mt assault, his assault again) while taking 2 wounds during that time, then proceeded to crush the beserker during my next assault.

I'm promoting this guy to Farsight or R'myr after this.

Just the other day I Had some Kroot on my objective. It was a little tense as I had one turn left before the Swarmlord hit my lines, and I needed to hold onto that objective. So my opponent puts Deathleaper in cover right in front of my kroot, which would end up splitting my fire and denying my objective at the same time.

Then my interceptor lascannon turns around and instagibs Deathleaper even though it was sitting in 2+ cover.
And the next turn the Kroot eat the Swarmlord's last wound in CC.

Waaaaay back in 2nd/ 3rd Ed (it's so long ago I can't remember !), a mate of mine was running Orks against my Eldar. Avatar wandering around gleefully smacking those filthy Greenskins when a single, lone, Kommando chucks a Krak grenade on said Avatar, dropping it down to one wound. Avatar gets charged by a blob of 30 Gretchin.... by the time the last Gretchin attacks it's doling out something like 28 attacks. Hits Avatar 5 times, wounds twice... Avatar dies in a puddle of smoky, confused ichor.

Im playing against blood anels, and its down to his l;and raider and my abbadon.

I immoblise it, destory all but one of it's weapons

And then....

I kill myself with 1 on my deamon weapon

5th edition game

On turn 5, which ended up being the last turn of the game, I peeled my Emperor's champion off of a crusader squad to kill 2 remaining kroot that were sitting on an objective. The crusader squad rushed to the other remaining objective. If I could kill the kroot with the Emperor's Champion, I'd win 1-0. If I stayed locked in combat with the kroot with the EC, I'd still win 1-0.

I make it into close combat and swing 4 times, failing to hit with 3 rolls. Since I had the Accept Any Challenge Vow, I pick those up and swing again, but only get an extra hit out of it. Still, I only need to roll 2's to wound the kroot and I have two chances. Snake eyes! I deal no wounds. Damn.

OK then, he only gets 2 swings back and my EC still has 2 wounds. We'll stay locked in close combat and I'll win.

He hits and wounds with both swings. Damn.

OK then, he only needs to make 1 of these 2+ armor saves to live and stay locked in close combat. Snake eyes! I take 2 wounds and lose the EC. Damn!

He consolidates back onto the objective. Game ends. Tie.

Had two models left in my scout squad (A Sergeant and a reg) they both had Sniper rifles and camo cloaks they were in cover and camping an objective.

They got charged by a CSM demon prince with 2 wounds left, The scouts hit 3 times, wounded 3 times and the Prince failed 2 saves and died before even getting to swing and kill the scouts on the objective.

That or My friends Trygon with 2 wounds left assaults my Dreadknight, the Dreadknight uses wall of death with his heavy incenerator and does two hits. Both wound and he fails his Armor saves on both killing it before it even rolls its charge range.

I've had my necron warriors out assault a unit of Blood Angels Assault Terminators.

I've had my standard Captain (P.Sword and bolt pistol) fight a boys mob of 30 ork boys, nob, and warboss solo...holding the objective valiantly for 4 turns (this was 5th edition so no challenges) until he was finally slain by the last ork boy. That ork boy rolled 3 hits (5,5,6) and 3 wounds (5,6,6)... I rolled 1,1,1. He hadn't suffered a single wound till then.

I've had my necron playing friend scatter his Particle Whip onto his Nightbringer (former necron codex) and deal the last wound killing him.

Good times, good times.

Having my heavy weapon squad fight off a squad of assault marines.

I just have this hilarious mental image of a guardsman beating a marine to death with a lascannon battery.

My converted Ghazzy wrecked a Leman Russ with a power Klaw and rolled a 6. The shrapnel killed him

A stealth suit killing a hive tyrant. In close combat.

Old game. My termies blow up a LRBT and the crew escape mechanism spits out 3 guard who proceed to kill the 5 man termie squad in a turn of me rolling too many 1s

Third edition game: one dark lance destroys a land raider, resulting explosion destroys a dreadnought.

I had a SW lord wipe My warboss and 8 mega Nobs in a single turn

My lone Sm captain hacking appart a 30 man strong Cultist squad and then next turn faling to the wounds inflcited upon him by that damned Hellbrute

My Hive Tyrant with a single wound remaining tried to last another turn by putting Endurance on himself, for the FNP roll and a shot at IWND to regain a wound. The roll technically succeeded... with snake eyes. He killed himself with Perils and meekly left the table.

4 wychs killed my hive tyrant who had all his wounds

My Friend was able to explode my Land raider with a rending assault cannon shot and then I procedded to fail 2 armor saves for my terminators.
The rest of the match went downhill very quickly for me

Just recently, I took out 2 Leman Russ's with a quad gun.

I jumped a squad of warp spiders behind him and they whiffed their shots, only causing a single glance. Next turn for some reason he completely turned his tanks around, presenting rear armor to my quad gun. He annihilated the Spiders, but then my Fire Dragon Exarch with Tank Hunters and Crack Shot lit into him, caused 4 penetrating hits, and one was left a crater, and the other a smoking ruin. I was quite happy.

I had a single Assault Marine sergeant with a power sword roll up an entire Tau battleline.

He assaulted one FW squad, he won on my opponent's turn. He then assaulted a Shas'o and 2 Suits he had joined.

He swept them and survived all the fire the Tau put into him. All the Plasma died with the Shas'o.

Then he was assaulted by a Stealth team and finally died.

I had a beaten up unit of Eldar guardians suffer the horrible fate of the chaos land raider rumbling up and dropping the assault hatch to disgorge 5 chaos terminators, who were tasked with slaughtering the weedy space elves, only they did not. Not only did they fail but the eldar killed all of them in melee. To add insult to injury he had made a serious blunder and while salivating over crushing my guardians he had accidentally left the land raider within moving and assaulting distance of my wraithlord who proceeded to smash it apart. So over 500 points worth were lost trying to deal with a load of penny points no-hopers.

In 4th edition I had a librarian with a jump pack daisy chain an entire army. Hit it on the left end of the table, 2.5 turns later he was tabled. I would have felt bad if it wasn't so epicly awesome.

A Rhino 1 shot-ing a Land Raider with a HKM (this was 2nd or 3rd edition, don't remember which).

In 5th I took out an entire Tyranid horde of 60 gaunts and a trygon with seven tactical marines and a librarian

My master of ordinance killed only himself while trying to triangulate an enemy position. The shot scattered and landed inside the trench, right next to him where the trench did a ninety degree turn. He was splattered everywhere, where the rest of my command squad was allowed a cover save.

I had Missile Launcher armed Dev. Squad, take out a bio titan. It took three turns, but it was awesome. Same titan different game was taken out by Hunter Killer Missiles and Lascannon fire in the first turn.
