It's a lot of plastic!

I do like the Brute models as well.

Whats your impression on the kits? Is part mixing easy between the various TD sprues.

That's because its not fantasy.

Guessing it's part of the Victorian Science Fiction line that has been teased lately.

I can't see any issues so far. I haven't tried mixing male/ female kits yet to see if there's a size disparity there but I'm not the sort of person to find that an issue once the models are in a squad.

I may use Heavy Infantry bodies with standard infantry parts to make a unit Champion for infantry units later on.

I have a LOT of plastic to play around with.

Very interested in the US Marcher minis for K47...but the shots of the actual minis are a bit lacking? Have they shown them off in better detail anywhere?

Can the Mauler be build with 4 wheels, the middle wheel looks superfluous to me.

yes, you'd need to trim off a peg the wheel attaches but that should be easy enough and would give a more civilian look (modern military likes 6 or 8 wheels so they can loose some and still keep rolling)

Thank you for all thw work updating us on these models. It was a major risk for WGA to do so many kits at once but it seems to have paid off.

No problem, building is the most fun part for me, so it was just a question of taking a bunch of photographs and making some notes

I'm loving what i've played with so far,

It's almost the perfect crowdfunder, a great product, great value with the expected far longer than you expect delay. The delivery delays for non-US backers was a bit annoying but hey, the value was really, really good

The kits should fit so well in so many SF/post apocalypes games, and the beastmen even broadens the appeal out to the fantasy folk. I hope WGA does great business from them when they hit retail

(Edit: yes production took a lot longer than orignially intended, but that's how i expect a crowdfunder to run, especially one that unlocks a lot more than they expected. I quite understand people being annoyed if their original plan for them timed out, i'm lucky enought to have just wanted cool minis, eventually)

I like the Brutes and have knocked up a trio of squads so far. One with guns, one with the close combat weapons and shields and a third with the double handed axes.

Each is led by a Brute from the Command frame.

Lets see if I start getting bored if I hit 180 Damned Infantry.

The box arrived at a time to coincide with some enforced sick leave following an operation.

Lucky me?

However, thanks to your guides, I'm now building my heavy weapons correctly!

Has anyone tried combining the brute bodies with the sci-fi gun arms from the landsknecht ogres yet?

They should fit. I used them to make some Ventrillian Noble aligned Ogryns for my Imperial Guard when that box came out.

Unfortunately, I'm short on time at home so I can't head up to the loft to dig out my Ogre spare bits to check for now.

Has anyone else had any missing sprues? Mine arrived without one of the bonus sprues. I dropped them an email a couple of weeks back but haven't had a response yet. I'm sure they'll sort it eventually, it's understandable to miscount the occasional sprue with such a huge undertaking.

I received Cannon Fodder body sprues rather than the asked for weapons sprues for the 'lasgun' style weapons for other projects.

I'm not chasing them up because, frankly, it was an embarrassingly full big box of plastic I received.

I doubt I will have the time for those other projects!
