It's all a trap, they want you to use heavy dice that have a guiding system so when you roll, you get:

1-2: Roll another dice, on a 4+ they hit you on your private parts! If you fail, then they hit your opponent's private parts!
3-4: hits your troops
5-6: hits your enemy's troops

Better than Apocalypse I must say.

Also realize that you only get 10 dice.

Personally, I am amazed how much GW cut the price of 10 Daemonettes from $40 ($4 each) down to $22 for 10 ($2+ each).

This is way better than getting 12 Dryads for $35 ($3 each).

Did these not come out with the rest of the 25th stuff? Guy at my store said they ordered em, didn't get em, and were then told they were all sold out and no one would be getting anymore.

The US store is out of the sets. Never saw them go on sale. Had to get two sets from GW CA. Did order a set of chrome-plated ones though, just had to have 'em!

From what I'm told, the US stores pretty much got screwed on this. The dice all got stuck in customs or something, and by the time they got thru, they only had enough time/dice to supply the Bunkers with em, and all the independent stores were told tough luck.

how would getting stuck in customs affect the number of dice?

My FLGS got their 6 packs in, of which I purchased 1.

IMHO they are probably the ugliest dice I have ever seen. They're not really silver, they seem to be more of an ugly grey color.

I am not quite sure how customs and the supply of dice to Bunkers has any correlation here.

Shoot, I don't even think the local GW stores got them in 'VA'
