Just find somewhere to hide for the night.
Move when you have enough AP to go a decent distance and then find shelter before you run out of AP...
I'll come meet you in the middle if you like but it's a long journey even going half the distance...

Tell you what, I'll just meet you guys there, I know it'll take me awhile but it'll be good. I can get XP and find some weapons too, Right now I am just trying to make it too the nearest fire station to find a weapon and maybe even a radio, but if you guys just keep letting me know where you are I'll come to you. Haha I don't want everyone to die because of me!

The wiki's good for most things, but - take it from me - don't be afraid to ask. I'd recommend looking things up on there (the wiki) first, but it's not the most user-friendly, so don't worry about asking; the guys on here have really helped me...

you can search as often as you have AP... there is a chance to find items per search in a given building, but certain buildings only have specific items - PDs have guns, flak vests, etc
