In the immortal words of Austin Powers
"Yea baby Yea!!!"
-"Wait a minute.....who is that Frazz is talking to in the gallery? Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG
-"Don't mind Frazzled. He's just Dakka's crazy old dude locked in the attic. He's harmless. Mostly."

yeah,
this is exciting, it happens after judgement day...
Which is a big move to make since the first three happen now - with the war for the future being fought in the past...
skynet hasn't developed the T800 yet and is still getting up and running to the strength we see in first second and third movies flash backs...
the main terminator in the movie from what i gather is a T600 which is 'easy to spot' and carries a assault canon... (with rending on a 6 to hit... I assume)
The problem i have with this is when you watch the sarah conor TV series, SKy Net has sent Terminators back to lay the foundations for the war, gathering the raw materials needed to build a army of terminators... protecting the tech that later develops into SkyNet and building the Network/Army prior to judgement day... getting a head start so to say.... so how come it doesn't send plans for the T800 & T1000 back in time to save time in developing, bypassing the T100 - T600 - T700?
Anyhows... I can't wait... anything to do with terminators is Awesome x 10
Panic...

Bit of handwavium, but I think it's safe to say that Skynet may not be that creative in it's thinking. All it is trying to do is ensure it's own creation and then survival. Ergo, Skynet knows it starts here, middles there, and so on, so is most likely taking the same steps it remembers from it's creation. Thus, it simply cannot figure out giving itself a leg up.

i see it as the different terminators are needed at different times why bother having a 99.9% succesful infiltrator if you could kill more humans with a few hundred miniguns strapped to a blimp? then as the humans get more spread out your death blimp would be kind of redundant so you would have the infiltrators to attack the smaller groups of surviving humans or at least make them run to your blimp to get gunned down.

You can't muck with the timeline man!!! You sir are OBVIOUSLY not a treckie...lol j/k. I think the reason they don't is like they explained in the first three movies. You can try and muck with the timeline but eventually it all works out the same. The humans won in the first two but it still didn't stop judgement day...just postponed it. Remember the book/movie the time machine? You can not change the circumstances that would have caused you to do what you have allready done. Atleast thats how I view it...

Maybe the next one in the series will be PG and the robots will carry nerf guns.
I could stomach T2, even though it totally went away from the concept of timetravel from the first movie (the idea that you can't go back and change the past - because you already did and failed). T3 was worse and in the "if it's on FX and there's a gunfight, I'll stop to watch 5 minutes" vein.

Wobbly handycams are worse, unless thre is very specific reason for it... i.e. cloverfield and blair witch.

Ok, so half the working day has gone by over here in the UK and so far I've had to deal with problems with internet connectiosn, the Exchange server, HP p1005 printers having a bloody mind of their own, touch screens not working, viruses, the vista pc my mate is using having calibration problems with his mouse, crystal reports not working on Server 2008...
and we have a series of films based on a super computer taking over the world? You can't beat a film based on fact
Live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about his religion. Respect others in their views and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life. Beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and of service to your people. When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home.
