The Dotch Yaga is a legend... Rumor has it that the construction of just one of these combat striders monopolizes Slavgorod´s production of kolossium for a month; that a single shell of its heavy mortar weighs as much as a kolossus battlesuit; that it has a Gauss cannon capable of firing 500 kilos of steel per second; that it can absorb direct fire from a battlecruiser. All these rumors are true. The Dotch Yaga is a legend because no one has ever survived a fight against the ultimate offspring of the revolutionary weapons industry. Every day, even its pilots are surprised by the endurance and the power of this machine. A new generation of officers has been specifically trained to take command of the Dotch Yagas to fully exploit their capacities; and no doubt others will need to be trained to command companies that include one of these armored fighting vehicles.

GOGS - Slightly better than the last bunch but still vaguely stupid looking. (Got it! All the Cogs so far look like they've been caught mid-stride in some sort of weird Aztec 'Safety Dance'. Hurray for dynamic miniatures?)

DOTCH YAGA - This will look great! In my Weird War II game (Secrets of the Third Reich).

Rackham continues to either disappoint and/or supply me with miniatures for use in other games.

At least until (IF?) DUST TACTICS stuff starts showing up (which will still be a slight 'win' for Rackham too, but, whatever...)

Actually, I like these COGs less.

The Dotch Yaga on the other hand...

Well, the DOTCH YAGA does look as if it would have trouble walking in a straight line...

I like the newest cog pics.

The Witch's Daughter (ДОЧЬ Яга) however....not bad. The mortar looks a little too bulky even by red block standards.

The four legs make me pause a bit too. It is hard to make that have any sort of speed, much less walk at all with less than 6 legs. I am kinda scratching my head at that one.
[edit]
I am wondering when the cog release is. Still not much word on that, but I am glad to see the recent trend in cry havoc newsletters pouring in those pics

The Dotch Yaga is fine, but I'd be more impressed if we had something for scale next to it.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

if it is anything like the theirin or UNA type 3 vehicles, then it will be on a base larger than 100mm.

Wow, when the Cog preview sketches came out, I was all excited to jump into AT-43.

I don't know how Rackham managed it, but with every preview picture of an actual, my enthusiasm wanes further.

Sad, really.

Those cogs look cool/funny to me, but I guess it is because of how much they seem to resemble a rockem sockem robot.

If it never loses, then I will field one every game!

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

So, it's maybe the size of a Soulgrinder? Am I supposed to be impressed? Isn't a Land Raider longer than that? I mean, if this thing were going to be as big as a Baneblade, then I'd be impressed. But other than the fluff making it OMFGBBQROXXOR, I'm not seeing what makes it so special. It looks nice. Nothing mindblowing, though.

As far as how cool type 3 vehicles are, I would actually rather field a squadron of type 2 AFV's over type 3 AFV's anyday of the week.

The squadron is far tougher and has more firepower output for nearly the same price.

Its like a necron army using 3 monoliths in 1500 points.

Yeah they are big scary things but if you ignore them and direct your attention towards mission objectives, they suddenly make their status as a point sink apparent.

It will come down to the rules for the Dotch Yaga to see whether or not I get one. I think I would almost HAVE to throw a thrid pair of legs on it, but then they wouldn't match the other's and then you might as well replace them too, and then you might as well just build it from scratch if you're gonna do that...

RUues wise, it would come down to those last two points of armour. I'm not sure they will make it as tough as it is purported to be. That thing is a huge investment of points for a single model, and I am not sure it's damage capacity is up to it. I mean, how many Sierps could I get for those points????

Anyway, I field Odin/Mannon's Regenerating Hetman every time I play (simply b/c it irritates the unreasonable crap out of this one guy who needs the unreasonable crap irritated out of him) and putting out both of these at once would be laughable points wise.

And yes, that was me doing a complete and utter dump on the AFV sculpts a while back. Mostly I was ranting about the UNA and the Therians, however I think I had choice words for Red Block as well. Red Block IS the best of a bad bunch though, in my opinion.

Oh just great. I didn't mind them so much at first but now that's all I can see. They'll have to be painted red and blue now.

I think if the arms were put down it would look pretty good.

10cm AOE mortar makes it pretty special.

The Cogs look to me to be some weird hybrid of a Tau Crisis suit and a Rock'em Sock'em robot. Having said that, I do like them better than the last few preview pics we've had. I do love the look of the shoulder-mounted weaponry (Not an AT-43 player, so no idea if that's a normal weapon or not)

As for the Dotch, I'd have to see it in the Plastic before I'm sure about it, but it strikes me as a nice basis for an Iron Warriors Defile conversion, if (unlike me) you've got those mad skillz

I'll admit that my skepticism of this comes from my lack of knowledge and understanding of AT-43, never having played it and so not understanding the scale of games. But a 10cm blast is smaller than a WH40K large blast marker. I'm assuming that this is rare in AT-43?

10cm blast means 20 cm diameter, which even for 40K is quite a hit.

Oh. Wow. 10cm radius. I was thinking 10cm diameter. Okay, now I am impressed.

I don´t know. The dotch just seems sooooo under detailed. The left gun (not the mortar, the other one) looks like a pen with some plasticard...

I sort of like the idea of the cogs. I mean back mounted missile lauinchers, who wouldn´t want those? But as others have said, they look a bit "walk like an egyptian".

While the Mega supah nut cruncha Mgauss gun is nice on the Dotch Yaga, I have to agree.

It is a points sink, but if you can use the new Яed Blok platoon pattern in Operation frostbite that lets you take duplicates of heroes, you could field a few Odin and Manons on the table, and the Witch's Daughter is set to 'unreasonably irritate the unreasonable crap' out of your opponent by fixing two points of armor a turn on the beast. Expensive but would be a hoot against a person who is uptight.
