Great concept! Very original. And the execution looks highly-crafted.

Any chance we could get a close-up of the driver/saddle/engine mount/fex?

Megapixels and tripods aren't the issue, they're just not in focus. If your camera has a "macro" function, that's what you want. If not, find a camera with a macro function

They are out of focus but they also have camera shake, cause by to long exposure whilst hand holding.

The ways to solve this are shoot out side - more light

Tripod to steady it.

Or flash, but this can cause even more problems with mini photography.

It's awesomely cool, but I'm curious as to what the engine is for, perhaps to apply "encouragement" to the Carnifex?

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Well i was originally going to replace the fexes legs with Space marine dreadnought legs, and the idea was for there to just be a driveshaft sticking through its back and powering the marine legs, but they looked kinda reduclous so i put the the regular fex legs back on. now the engine is sort of there just to billow out lots of smoke, and well i guess it does run pretty hot and could make the fex walk faster that way

also strangely enough i am too strapped for cash to buy my own camera after buying 2000 points of orks in one go , so i have to settle with borrowing my stepdads old camera. and it does not do autofocus any better then this >>

That's delightfully Orky. Strapping an engine to his back surely makes him pick up the pace, at least in Ork logic which is all that matters.

I dunno how much logic came into play for this honestly, I mostly just wanted a looted fex that looked plausible if suitably unplausible enough to be orky . I also just opened my warbiker kits and to my delight found some nice plastic grots and a really cool ork arm with biker chain that are going to get converted to represent the trukks grott riggers and just a general ork cracking a chain whip at the fex.

I Wonder if the fex is suitable enough to make the wagon count as both having a reinforced ram and a wrecking ball? What do you guys think. I also started to smear some paint on the wago/coach part of the model. Expect more pictures soon and i hope i can get a better camera to borrow by then.

I don't know ORK rules but maybe you might want to look into VDR rules or some kind of BattleWagon. Either way I hope you can find rules that will compliment the originality of your model.

Don't know about the Wrecking ball, since you'll limit yourself on range... but it would make on HECK of a "Counts as" for a Deff Rolla.

Yeah, I´m with Magick on this one, Deff rolla sounds about right. If you want to go for a wrecking ball, FW has a bit of kit: http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/carnifexw.htm

Now that´s a wrecking ball

My army actually is full of looted stuff, i want for my five transports to have something from every army. I got:

- a looted (IG/chaos/tau) chimera/rhino/devilfish thing! (already posted on dakka)
- a looted (Nid) fex, this!
- A (Marine) Looted Vindicator that i have already modeled up.
- A looted (Eldar/Dark Eldar) Skimmer converted to have wheels so it has that sleek racer look.
- A Looted Monolith, just because i CAN.

woops forgot the important part! the paint is drying right now, so later there will be pichaz!

My own little happy place

awesome but the carnifex should count as having deff rolla, wrecking ball, reinforced ram, and a grabber claw

I tried being normal but it's boring so now I'm back to being insane

I thought about the Deff Rolla, but it can't go on a trukk which is my primary use for this model. Anyway here are some more pictures, note that i did remove the boardingplank as o am painting it seperatedly and then puttuing it back on.

Here a few close-ups of the Grot i added to whip the fex with his chainwhip, hes based on the bikersprue and i didn't really convert to much about him.

Then i forgot i needed a rokkit launcha on this thing too! That ork must be very gutsy and very dumb to climb up on a moving trukk like that, and yes! thats cus its an ork! and he won't stay glued there either so every time it moves the ork might fall off! talk about realism in your miniatures XD.
