What model is the most catastrophically failing character in your army(ies)?

Mine:
High Elf mage - consistently dies to miscast. Example: last game I played, very first turn, very first roll of the game, rolls snake eyes to cast a spell....and another set of snake eyes for result. T__T.

My friend:
Dwarf Cannon - managed to have 5 consecutive games where it misfired, despite having the rune to re-roll the misfire die.

Good laughs had with these guys, though. And provides fun nicknames (I call my mage Enola Gaye now).

Fantasy:

Bretonnian Lord on Pegasus, every time i seem to take him he dies to something random like a lucky scatter on a stone thrower or a cannon that way overshot etc.

40k

There's a specific Sgt. model with a power fist and a Plasma Pistol that i no longer fire his pistol, simply because every time i do i seem to roll a 1 then another 1. By by 40 points spent on wargear.

Warmachine:
The Behemoth Every time i take the thing it seems to spend most of its time either scrambled on its back, or unable to receive focus.

lmao, thats why marines whouldn't where such bright armour

here's one, I roll to scatter and I roll way off target twice with both deathwinds. he fires his plasmacannon at the clustered marines and gets a direct hit, every time, with 3 drop pods of marines....

I'm playing Beasts of Chaos vs. some High Elves.

My opponent's general is a wizard Lord, fully tarted up with all the best in High Elf wear. He's got a mount, max points of items, the works, and he's in a huge spearmen unit with other characters.

Round #1, top of the first, He marches up and gets ready to get casting. First spell, miscast, double 4's. Normally this isn't catastrophic, but I've got Morghor, so all of a sudden, his army is led by a 3-wound Chaos Spawn.

Worse yet, this thing is in combat with his spearmen, and it's a 3 wound t5 Unbreakable menace. Worst of all, on its first round of combat it kills his BSB.

So it's the top of the first, I haven't even had a chance to go, and his General has become a Spawn, eaten his BSB and locked up his unit. I've seen more improbably occurences (Skaven magic killed 40 of his own guys, including 2 ratling guns), but this is the most outlandish and instant I've ever seen.

All in all, fact is that Warhammer 40K has never been as balanced as it is now, and codex releases have never been as interesting as they are now (new units and vehicles and tons of new special rules/strategies each release -- not just the same old crap with a few changes in statlines and points costs).

It's like the power fist effect. Sure, statistically you should hit half the time and wound most of the time, but we all know that once the strength of an attack goes past 8 the chance of rolling a 1 triples.

Wolf Lord with Fenrisian Wolves under 4th ed. armour majority rules. Bad, bad idea.

Although before killpoints came into it, if the Wolf Lord died off his horrible 5+ save before the wolves did, the opponent wouldn't get any victory points.

Khorne berzerker skull champion w/ power fist. I truly despise him, but he's the only berzerker I got with a power fist. I've threatened to pull it off and put it on another model after every game he's in. He has 4 attacks on the charge and hits most things on 3's. S9 on the charge. He should be awesome. Can't hit a thing. I consistently roll 1's and 2's for every roll to hit. Once charged a dreadnought, figuring I'd kill it in the first round of assault. He never hit it. For three turns. The other guys with crack grenades were doing all the damage. Never did kill the darn thing.

my friends whirlwind has had the worst luck ive ever seen. out of dozens of games it has only succeeded in killing his own marines. back in the day where you had to guess the range for barrage weapons he was always spot on, right in the middle of what he wanted to kill, but scatter dice hate him, always taking those missile off over to his own nearby squad. when guessing went out the window the scatter dice remained the same, only ever killing his own marines. eventually he became tired of it and got himself a nice nid army instead.

If we were to play each other in a tournament, not only would I table you, I would murder you, your family, every woman you ever loved and burn down your house. I mean, what's the point in winning if you allow people that don't take the game seriously to live?
