Not sure but I would have to say Ogren ($20 per 25pts, blood crushers(dont know but high) and SM Rhinos ($30 per 35pts) are up there with the highest $$$ per point.
While the best for the money is probably the Nightbringer, landraider and any suped up lord type model in any army.

Which pretty much makes drop pods up their too. However i have the best one. Vortex grenade. If you buy the template for it. Its like $10 but its a free if you choose it in apocalypse games. FTW

My money's on kroot hounds. 12 dollars for two, six points a model works out to a dollar a point. Worst part is, my new Tau army list calls for twenty.

Well you could also say just about anything forgeworld. Pretty sure there are things there that cost more than $1 a point. Say the Thunderbolt and the like.

Meph Yes, but if you used the rules she's supposed to have (rather than "counts as" ), she was a bargain @ > 3 points/dollar. The metal Chaos Warhounds used to be very bad, but the new plastics fixed that. So far, I think Ogryn win, at more than $1/pt. From Forgeworld, I'll point you at Death Korps of Krieg Rough Riders, who are $17.30/11 pts (by today's conversion rate).

Interesting aside...
When 40K 3rd Edition came out, models got a lot cheaper in points. A 30pt Tactical Marine dropped to 15pts. Therefore, GW effectively doubled their prices overnight.

Buy your Kroot hounds form eBay. It worked for me (I only have five, mind you...)
