I am pretty surprised you don't know about it. Skirmish style games, self contained one box game that can turn into a larger scale game. Easy rules ,great minis , awesome terrain ( very necromunda ) modular style.
Faction expansions are already available. I'll take some pics as I unbox it.

Bring on the new codex Automatically Appended Next Post: I need some help with the paint scheme for my imperial knight .
Above is a picture of my army and color/paint scheme.
I was leaning towards my current color scheme, but now that I have picked up the new white dwarf and read some fluff on the mechs I am not so sure any more.
What do you guys think? I am open to any and all suggestions.
I am heavily leaning towards the current camo scheme but wanted to hear some other opinions.
Thanks in advance

IRL camo on vehicles is a really good idea. Not because it makes them stealthy, but because it makes the outlines of different parts of the vehicle harder to see, and thus the enemy has a harder time shooting at vulnerable spots. Automatically Appended Next Post: Personally, I'd go for a slightly different colour scheme, so that it remains tied in with the army, but also retains the feel of being the 'free agent' it is.

Maybe a campaign badge in the grey and black camo, with the rest of the knight in the colours of the house/etc.

Red with yellow and black chevrons
Can't remember the name of the house it is from but that is the scheme and I have the GW version waiting until this one is 100% completed.
Anyone pick a knight up this weekend?

I am probably going to get two and have my dreamforge act as the commander.
The kits look really nice. Are you going to glue it down or try and keep the arms and cockpit removable?

Un-surprisingly, GW took a lot of design tips from DFG if you ask me. The arms have a lock-n-key system, almost identical to those of the Leviathan. The head is a different matter - they way it is designed it will be a pain to make it removable.
Fortunately, the helmets/faceplates are really nice and could be easily magnetized to the head. Though personally, I truly like the unmasked face. Looks very mechanicus-y, but you can paint it up in a lot of ways that make it stand out well.
I'm going to re-start my blog thread with this little beauty. There will be plenty of photos of what it looks like and how it goes together if you need some reference pics (as I don't want to take over your thread).

GW has a really nice YouTube video on painting a knight titan.
Definitely worth a watch for inspiration.
No camo. I used the minitare paints in stages plus a wash of nula oil ( I think that is what it is called now ) andthen a quick re spray of the brightest red I have.
The pictures don't do it justice.
Next is the metal parts and pistons , then yellow and black chevrons.
I am really happy with the minitare paints. Four shades , no thinning, quick drying time and really nice coating. I'm even more impressed.
The arms will feature the chevron patterns left to right complete chevrons.
Plenty of taping and masking in my future since I rushed to assemble the model instead of skeleton first armor second.
I strongly suggest painting and assembly in stages. Much much easier to paint.
Oh well lesson learned I guess.
Stay tuned for more painting WIP pictures

Chevron pattern done.

Still tons of work to do , not to mention the arms.

My feedback: The hazard striping doesn't look very clean/straight, did you use tape or freehand? Also, are you using flash photography? Its picking up the gloss paint and making it really hard to see what I'm looking at.
Also, you know that kit is huge compared to an actual knight model, right?

Thanks for the feedback. The tape ran as I was airbrushing so that is why all the paint chips were added and it looks more free handed.
Minitaire paints are a touch glossy so mat varnish will need to be applied after I decide to keep it or not.
Also I bought the dreamforge titan way before the GW model came out.
I think I am going to sand it off but that is why I am looking for feedback.
Thanks again
Anyone else... You will not hurt my feelings.

Good point paul. I think the arms will add a lot to the overall look.
It's hard to tell but I have already weathered the gak out of it. I think a dull coat will help it too.
Keep the feedback comin boyz

Honestly I'm afraid to add anything else. I was thinking the chainsword possibly.
Once the arms are on it isn't as noticeable.
I will snap a picture with them on later and you can see what I am talking about

Here is a picture with the arms on.
