Maxmini heads on Chaos Knight torsos on Cadian legs & modified Cadian arms - note the Chaos Knight bodies are quite wide and the chest plates stick out more than the Cadian ones making putting lasguns on these guys a pain)

The rough riders are a great idea, the paint on the Leman Russ is inspiring. The maxmini heads seem too small on the chaos knight torsos, but maybe once they're painted it will come together.

Any idea for stalk tanks? I'm considering using a forearm of a defiler as the body.

I'm thinking about converting my chimeras to six wheels to use as STeGs. I'm looking forward to your halftracks and marder conversions.

wow, this is one fab looking army already!

Looks great! I am especially impressed with the Rough Riders and the Leman Russ. The "rusty" look turned out great. I think the black on the bolters and turret guns might need to be weathers a bit to get it to match better with the hull, but great work!

Some nice stuff here. I particularly like the commander and the banner in the command staff. And that Russ is amazing. Looking forward to seeing more.

agreed but for my defense - this was a trial & error piece - my first go with my airbrush before I unleashed it on my Macharius (I have loads of Russ's but only 1 Macharius!)

here's how my Blood Pact troopers look so far (counts as vets). need to add loads of grenades and maybe some knee & elbow pads. also drill out the special weapon barrels.



here's my Master of Ordnance. he's since gain a back pack / raido & may get some clockwork on his chest

was thinking of doing my nurglings in variuous poo colours to separate them from the greens & reds on Mamon.
BTW added more rust effects to the barrel with some new MIG weathering powders. Quite handy if a liitle expensive.

Glad to see that you went back to the Cadian torsos for the Blood Pact- the proportions just fit a lot better, and it makes them look more threatening than cruder armor, somehow.

Nice! Glad to see my Blood Pact brothers are progressing. What kind of backpacks do they have? That MoO is very nice, great find on that head.

These are just stunning. The main reason I make traitor guard is the imagination that goes into creating them and I can see lots of it here.

Ha ha, me and my buddy have those same heads and we just call them "Hellboy" heads. They do look amazing though albeit a tad smaller than I would like.

Really like that head you used there, where is it from?

The blood pact are looking very menacing. Good paintwork on all the other units. Can't wait to see more!

These are looking great, as usual. You seem to capture the different aspects of Chaos quite well and your Nurgle stuff is really convincing.

I've done more to Zhufor onFriday but am now suffering with man-flu so haven't taken any picts yet. Might take tomorrow off work & post sometime in the pm (UK time).

I think I know what you mean. Around the brass, the shading is a bit thick. I might be able to clean it up some.

The following week I might have finished my scratch-built ..... - you will have to wait & see, but I'm getting excited & it will save me about £40 a pop (what is it????)
HINT: it uses parts from the AOBR orks....
