So, I came up with a concept of building a reallllly huge tank for my sisters of battle (A Giant Rolling Cathedral Type Job).

Here is my crappy concept drawing.


I could use help writing rules for it too.

I just want it to have a lot of exorcist launchers, and the biggest flamers possible, and be a transport.

The base for the tank is a 1/18 scale M1A1 Abrams, it will be converted heavily of course and made to look more Warhams like.

I was thinking having the pipe organ count as...S-8 Ap-1 Heavy D6x4


Not sure what else though and how many points it would be, just let it be known that this thing is massive and should have rules to reflect that.

There are a few imperial vehicles that does roughly this, minus the flamer of course (so your win). Check the exsisting datasheets, including the forgeworld ones.

That could look incredible.

As long as it's actually called a 'Cathedral Mega Heavy Tank', it should be good.

How big is the Abrams chassis compared to a Baneblade?

What you need is a baneblade or shadowsword and a crusader/redeemer for the monster flamers and lots and lots of plastic tubing.
For the exorcist launcher use the titan apoc miss launcher rules.

If you don't model the stick figure on it somewhere, it's gonna be labeled with a fat "FALE".

Looks like the idea i had a while ago, but i went with a Hellhammer(Witch hammer) instead. An idea i had was to place a Canoness Superior on something church-ish surrounded by repentias or celestians that attacked anyone that assaulted the tank, like the flechette dischargers for tau. =)

I like the idea of the organ being a kind of mega mortar. How about putting a pulpit on the front with a gun on it.

There are some other tank cathedrals in the Gallery -- have a look for inspiration.

The M1 hull is 19 inches long in 1/16 scale.

Yeah, the hull for the tank is massive, it's about a foot and a half long, about 9 inches wide.

This thing is going to be a behemoth, I'm picking up the Chassis today, expect some WIP soon.

It's named after my old fallen FLGS where I started the hobby.

Depending on just 'how' big...

Four Baneblade Plastics combined, with some elements of a model cathedral based on the rear 2, lots of sponsons, oriented both forward and rear, two matching forward assemblies with varied weapons for that slightly asymmetrical look, and top it off with one of the 'Inquisitor' models as a statue somewhere all painted gold n'shizz.

Spray the whole model gold o_o

It'll get all the attention it'll ever want ( expect someone to steal it too lol )

The pipe organ will be deceivingly simple to make. I used pipe styrene cut to different lengths and angled at the tip to make the organ for my knight class superheavy.
At the time, I did neglect the bands, and someday when I can stand to look at the thing I will add them back, but a year later it still makes me feel burnt out. The blog is still around here somewhere... Super Heavy in 3 Weeks I think I called it.

Rules wise, I think you are going to go towards titan scale rules rather than a Baneblade. A 1/35 Merkava (Israeli Abrahms basically) is roughly the same size as the BB, so your scale is REALLY big. Still, the girls need a proper ride!

I Just picked up the chassis for this beast, will have wip pics tommorow.

I think this is an awesome Idea!

if only you could make a pulpit in the middle of the organ with an inquisitor or a sister superior with outstretched arms like they are preaching to the soldiers before they depart the ramp to either death or glory!
