The temple's pretty sweet looking and not a bad price really, I'll be getting one of them.

Hmm, the battalion is rather disappointing if you ask me, especially as it is going to replace the current one.

Not enough skulls if you ask me. The CoD skull building has a ton more skulls.

Its the £35 for the Stank im most annoyed about.

I've seen the size of the model and its not £35 worth of plastic, I mean look at the Valkyrie same price nearly 4 times as big as the bloody thing, I was considering starting an Empire Army with the new plastics but thats just too expensive, same with £25 for the Greatswords, you get 5 Chaos Knights for 12 Quid why are 10 Infantry models 13 quid more?

I like that Temple thing though, needs more skulls but its ace.

Can someone post a picture of the temple? I can't see GW's site at work (and now I can't see BoLS either! If they block Dakka, I am quitting that afternoon.)

I dont think it is too bad. Judging by the scale compared to the hero there it is pretty big. As usual it teeters on the fence of being a good deal/too much.

The battalion is a disapointment (8 knights? Still? Can't give us 10?).

Temple of Skulls: I sneer in disdain.

Is anyone else disappointed by the price for the new plastic steam tank? I honestly thought it would be cheaper than $57. More fool me.

To be honest I think the exorbitant price of the steam tank might be a good thing.

Think of it this way, if the steam tank cost the $30 that it should, then every power gaming 15 year old in your FLGS would have two (and mauleed would have 37 of them). Maybe this way the aforementioned will be kept in check.

Okay, I wasn't sure what to expect from a temple of skulls. After the CoD terrain I was afraid it would be made entirely out of skulls, with blood as the mortar.
What is there is sorta generic, but it's alright if you want a Khorne temple. I'd have prefered a Nurgle cesspit myself.

Fellblade - They come in four to a sprue IIRC. If they wanted to give you 10 knights they would have to cut two off another sprue and put them in a baggie or something. I agree though they need to be recut to allow 5 for sprue. It is a relic of the days of 4-wide.

Any one else wonder why those prices are so weird.
They seem a lot higher than normal items in that price bracket... like they're part of a real price increase.

23% increase , quite abit different then people's expected 3% increase a month ago.

I have to agree, the Temple of Skulls is definitely an attractive piece. I love nice pieces of scenery, especially when they've been tainted by Chaos. I'll have to buy one for sure.

Actually that is a Bright Wizard on an Empire watch tower.

If the Empire battalion came with a leader, it would be worth it. It's as if they are laughing right in our faces.

Yeah, I know. But it's been what, three years now since they changed the rules to make ranks 5-wide, instead of 4? And they are going to change the contents of the battalion box to include the sexy new plastic Greatswords, instead of the so-last-wave plastic flagellants, yet they can't be bothered to fix the knights? I'm just sayin'.
