I'm enjoying this new guy quite a bit, but I have a question or two about him in regards to your theme.

Firstly, he seems more Cryx than necron. By saying that I'm in no way knocking it, as the conversion is looking grand. It's just, are you moving more away from necron, and more Cryx now?

If he's a brass robot, why's he got a scantilly clad babe at his feet?

He's going to be non-robot. When I did the first Goreshade I decided to only Necron head the guys with skulls for heads. He's still due for some other Necron details though.

I just double checked through your thread, as I'd apparently stopped reading on page 3 or somesuch. I feel a major fool right now, I apologize.

And to feed your ego, with your warwitch denegrha's head, I didn't notice it was sculpted until I saw the greenstuff copy.

As said, no new sculpting till Thursday, but I did carve out the new blade for his ice sword today. Need to green stuff in a guard for it later.

Got some more work done on Goreshade. New thumb/palm on the outstretched hand. Neckerchief put on. Guard on the sword sculpted in. Did some more drilling on his backpack for additional green effects. I think baring the green plastic that doesn't go on until after painting that Goreshade himself is all finished. Just need to get Deathwalker done.

On that note, got Deathwalker 2.0 started up. Definite going to be a layer project. Need to get her body done, then her face, then her clothes, then her hair. Let me know how you think she's looking so far.

Oh, and would it be too assuming to ask for a size comparison shot with a GW miniature? Are they towering over, or do they fit similar sizes with the GW range.

Same scale as GW figs, I use parts back and forth all the time. PP doesn't use the heroic scale though, so they don't have the giant hands and heads that GW figs have. They're more naturally proportioned.

First attempt at her face is done. Not good enough and I'm going to take it off and redo it, though it was good practice and I've figured out a couple more techniques to get it to look more like what I want. It's weird/frustrating to hold the Deathwalker fig in my hand, look at it, and not quite get why mine doesn't end up looking the same, but I'll get there with some more tries.

Also got the first piece of her clothing done, and now you can see why I wasn't too concerned with her poor looking feet and ankles. And no, I don't know how that stays on.

After several attempts I just can't get the face quite right. All the clothing is done however and I want to keep this project moving forward, so I'm falling back on planB for the face. Slathered the face of my Deathwalker fig with green stuff to make a mold, and cast a couple little faces out of extra plastic sprue. Picked the best looking one, trimmed it down, and glued it on. I like it, but I think the head might be on a little high, neck a little too long. What do you think?

Repositioned and filled out the head. I think it looks better now. Just need to do in the hair. As well I reangled Goreshade's arm a tad, and filled in more green stuff on the base so the skulls are more integrated and less tacked on.

So I messed with a couple more plastic faces, and couldn't get one to come out perfect. Decided screw it, and hacked up my metal Deathwalker fig to steal her head. In the process of trying to get it to fit onto my fig, I messed up the face. Great. Went back to work on the mold and plastic and got one to come out good enough. Got a good nose, just one eye is not quite fully detailed, but I doubt anyone would ever notice if they weren't really looking that closely or in the super zoomed in pictures I'm about to post.

With that done, I did the hair as well. Now, while the body was something new, and the face I'm still perfecting my techniques on, hair is something I can do really well already, so that was cake and came out really nice in the first try. Got some nice ears in there as well.

Fixed up a couple other little things, including making a new palm on Goreshade's hand as somewhere along the line this pinkie broke off and needed replacement. At this point I'm really pretty satisfied to call the whole thing done and ready to be painted up.

your slave girl is coming out amazing. I love what you've done with the base, how'd you get such a large area of GS so smooth?

Wet finger, rub it lightly to polish it. It's harder to get small areas smooth.

Been busy with other projects, but I got a bit of paint on this. Just the base gold and bronze of his armor so far. The plan is to drybrush the metals so he blends nicely with the schemes of the rest of my stuff, but use more washes and highlights on the non-metals to try and make him a singular better painted fig.

About all the further I can get painting it for now. I was hoping to have it done before Warmachine night at the FLGS tomorrow but I can't find where my Space Wolf Grey went, which is the color I want to use for their skin. Otherwise I think the metallics and the base are all done. Just need to paint that skin on, give the skin/hair/cloth a wash of Badab Black, some follow up highlighting, and should then be finished.

Went ahead and got the green plastic into his backpack. Turned out to be a pain to do those upper parts, and I still couldn't get it to do what I wanted. I was hoping to have the melted plastic fill up those chimneys and the little holes better, but it cools too fast on contact with the metal for that to work. I ended up just setting a rod down into them and melting the top down flush, and filling up any little cracks with `Ard Coat. Like the Deathjack's glowing chest before it, it's a cool little detail that will almost never get noticed unless you're looking for it or happen to view it from the right angle.

Alright, it's pretty much done. Just needs a couple patches of static grass on the base to help tie it into the rest of my army, but that's stored at the FLGS.

It mostly looks very good, but I don't think there's enough contrast between their skin and hair colors...

I really really like it. Especially the hair. Love the color of the hair.

There's not a lot of contract between skin and hair, but I kind of like it like that. They're more meant to contrast the skin/hair from the clothes/armor.

While i am verry impressed whith your sculpting and understand your aversion to painstaking time for a great paint job i think it would be grand to see you take that step. I still am a huge fan of your stuff dont get me wrong.
