Also, I just bought some new plaguebearers from my flgs, because they didn't have the daemon codex, and I Had to get something! have to admit, though, they are a great kit!

Anyway, what I have for my daemon army so far:
great unclean one
epidemius with 6 plaguebearers for his unit
herald of nurgle with 6 plaguebearers for his unit
3 nurgling bases
7 plaguebearers
a daemon prince
maybe another daemon prince
maybe some beasts of nurgle

Each unit of plaguebearers has an icon, and the dp has wings. I also have a plaguebearer left on the sprue spare, which may sometimes take the place of an icon/the herald.

would that be enough for a fighting army? i have no knowledge of choas armies at all...

I think that it should be enough: I don't have the codex, but most nurgle lists I've seen look similar. It also seems that, with epidemius, nurglings can become quite nasty!
That's 2 hq (epi and the herald each count as 1/2 of an hq choice), 4 troops (though only 3 are scoring units: the nurglings are swarms) 1 elites (if I use beasts of nurgle( and 1-2 heavy support (depending on whether or not I want to make a second from what I have. I probably will, for anti vehicle purposes). I am not sure how many points, but I'm thinking maybe in the ballpark of 1500 points. I will have to get the codex to be sure.

I have some great stuff to show you guys! There is the grenade launcher prop that I am still working on, and then there are my new best painted models: four of my plaguebearers! These are all exactly as they came in the kit, just as papa nurgle intended. I seem to be better at painting models that I build straight from the kit, for some reason...

In other news, my Catachans with cybermarine allies, at the current status of what I could field (regardless of paint), is 2545! Next on the list is refurbishing my Land Raider. Here is a little rhyme about it:
Thought it was a battlewagon, Thought it was a train, The machine spirit, in the end, won, It's a land raider again. I love rhymes! I hate not having super glue, though...

Thanks! That is a lego hat. There are 5 assault termies, and a termy chaplain. The one that doesn't look like a termy is a sgt. He has big, beefy cardboard shoulder pads and shin guards.
I have had that land raider for a long time: it needs to be fixed, now. the engine is gone, as are the guns (the guns should be no problem, the engine- ) It also needs the front doors to be redone. The picture I have of it is old, It hardly looks anything like that, now
I don't see the rules problem with the ac, unless it has to do with it being non-gw. If it's the fact that the models are bringing their cover with them, one would simply ignore that for los purposes.
Or, if it is the fact that they are on a 60mm base, then you might need to check your codex

ha, a lego hat... good idea... i always was under the impression that the pith helmets of lego would fit an ogryn too...

and after some closer isnpections i see what you mean with the sarge...

Do you mean the cowboy hat? That's lego. If you mean the green helmet, that would be a cadian helmet from a bag of catachans I bought one time.
