The latest Element Games newsletter has this snippit of info about CB

Corvus Belli, the makers of Infinity, are moving warehouses in the next couple of months, however we have been assured that there will be no halting their regular schedule for new releases.

so while things may go smoothly I would not be surprised if there were a few delays related to this (but new warehouse hopefully means bigger warehouse so faster turn around on orders in the future

Yeah, this was reported a few months ago by Carlos from CB. They are having to move their entire company HQ out of the small side alley building they are currently in to a much larger strip / industrial park style building.

This will give them room to expand, hire more people, etc etc.

Some potential confirmation on those mystery blisters, via Claudius Sol of the official Forums via Mayacast the podcast:
Tankhunter AP HMG
the Nazarova Twins! (Kum character box)
Alguaciles SWC box
Teucer, Agema Warrant Officer
Igao (Tohaa unit.)

So, Teucer and an Artichoke. Tohaa ninja apparently. Can I get an eye-roll emoji, please.

If Angel re-prints, let it be digital. Por Favor.

Now we wait for the previews. I am indeed curious about the all of them. But as a Haqq player, the Kum Twins mostly.

Nah, those Catgirls are totally a Nomads' motif.

We already have a concept art of a female Kum rider anyways:

Perhaps that was the design back when CB was planning on a more generic female rider. Then they just made them characters.

I expect one of them to be posed like the old Butt-Girl Kum Rider.

Hmm, Pacific, that is sort of gross, to be honest. I like the official concept art much much better-- although without sunglasses. Glasses just don't really work-- see Angus or the one Muttawi'ah. I hope the twins fit in with Bootleg Penny, because that is going to be my Kum Biker gang-- Penny plus twins. (as 3 generic, or as Kasyma plus generic or...) I cannot see ever fielding more than three bikes, especially on those 55mm bases. We'll see them soon enough, within 22 days, eh.

Then, enough with the Kum already. Let's see the Govads, or even the Zhayedin. Or The Maghariba

Haha yes, no I know they won't be like that, it's just a joke about cheesecake/cat-girl comments.

As Absolutionis says though I wouldn't be at all surprised if there is some kind of reference to the old female Kum-rider sculpt (I love that cartoon strip )

Some more bikers are indeed going to be cool though, wonder how long it will take someone to come up with an 'Akira' bike-battle style game with rule modifications - how cool would that be?

After getting a second box of Kum for Christmas (which have been turned into generic female Kum with the Maghariba and Lizard pilots (I had to paint dat ass)) I'll be on 7 with the twins.

I'm glad they didn't waste time replacing the two boxes and Izzat after pulling them from the shelves as well. But yeah, it's time for something new for Haqqislam. Govads, Zhayedans or Khawarijs would be fantastic.

I love the Kums, but I am no were near talented enough to even give them a passable paint job. Maybe I will pick something up from the Angel books and want to give them a try in the future.

The trick is trying to not look at Angels bikers. They are absolutely insanely well painted, even for him - hence why they won the viewer vote for BoW's best painted.

They're fun models to paint. I've had a run of hot weather which always puts me out of the mood to paint, but it's getting better lately and I'm picking up on them where I left off.

I remember a comment that Angel made on Facebook after he heard that he was nominated for best paintjob.

Something along the lines of "if I knew that miniature was getting entered into a competition, I'd have put some proper effort into it."

Or words to that effect.

That man makes me sick...

We've seen snippets of the Army Builder, but do we have a tentative release date yet?

That's the final barrier to N3 being fully operational.

Is that a natural 21?

Aside from "hopefully February"? Nope
The designer/coder was out for personal reasons for a while.

He's back and slaving away. Last I heard he was on the CA portion, which was in like the last 20% or so of work.

@Kanluwen, do post pictures when you have a go at the Squalo re: ragefist, I'm curious to your results as I might like to attempt something similar in the future.

Did I skim correctly? Are Nomads getting official AnnaPuma and UniPuma models and profiles? 'Cause that would be win.

Damnit... now I want to source models for a skirmish sized tank police force =/

From Beasts of War

redben2070p said 49 minutes ago:

“A Book That Helps Painters

First, I’d like to make it clear that while Corvus Belli and Vallejo are supporting this project, I have made all the decisions related to it. Please don’t direct your anger or frustration at them.

This book was my dream, but now it is my nightmare. Discussions, then criticisms, then insults…

When I started this project in 2013, I believed it would be a success, but no one else did. “A paint book, Angel? You’re crazy! You’re stupid! Hahaha!”. But I wanted to write it for my fans. I did market research, I studied my Facebook and blog statistics, I talked to stores, painters, companies, etc. I learned that selling more than 4,000 books would be very difficult. Nobody believed in this project. But I did.

I presented my project to Corvus Belli and Vallejo because I needed some help to sell the book, and they have the means to help me. They said “Yes!”, they trusted me and my idea. And so I decided to make 5,500 books – I didn’t think I would sell more than that.

I was afraid that if too many books didn’t sell, that Corvus Belli and Vallejo would be upset with me. So, during 2014, I advertised my project all over Facebook and my blog. Imagine my surprise when I began 2014 with 3,000 followers and I now have 8,700.

My mistake was underestimating my fans and followers. I didn’t expect this demand, and neither did Corvus Belli or Vallejo. As a result, many of my followers were not able to get a copy of my book, and that frustrates and saddens me.

This is a difficult decision because I decided on a “limited edition” of 5,500 copies because that’s what I could afford and, more importantly, what I thought would sell.

I’m stressed about this, I’m not happy. I re-watched my presentation video and I read the phrase “a book that helps painters”. That’s the spirit of my book. How could a book help painters if they can’t get a copy of it?

This has not been an easy decision, but I have decided to reprint this book. For those of you who have already ordered a copy, I hope you understand why I am making it available to more people. For those of you who have not yet ordered a copy, please be patient as I sort out the details.

I will post more information here as the second printing progresses.

I want to thank you all for your support. I hope this book truly helps all of you.

Angel Giraldez”

so Angel's book is coming back, so if you were sad about missing out first time round get ready to try again

Can anyone tell me in short what the hating it is angel talks about? Were people just angry because of the very limited LE? (I didnt follow anything) And does anyone know if the paintbook is any good for non airbrush painters? If he is really making more prints i could look into it if its suited for painting without airbrush.

He still does the interesting stuff with a brush. His airbrushing is mostly base coating and preshading.

If he's seriously reprinting the book then I'll do my best to secure a copy. Couldn't care less about the LE model (though it is nice), I just want the delicious secrets.

I imagine, like the first run, that it's not going to be terribly large, so I anticipate this one being just as hard to get. I'm going to find his Facebook page and follow those updates for sure.

He's definitely (seriously!) reprinting the book!

This is good news and makes sense on just about every level.

Very good decision. And I fully understand the problems he had. Heck, even 300 books is in some niches of TT a huge run.

I'm really glad I might get a second chance to get hold of this. Think a reprint was a good call and would be happy to buy just the book without a model.

If you mean the criticism and insults it's probably the internet being the internet. People who should be saying "I am disappointed I couldn't get hold of it, it sold out in seconds and I think it should be reprinted so people like me have a chance to learn how to paint like angel"

Instead post this on places like angels Facebook

"feth you, you must be slowed to think that you would only need 5000 copies. Reprint it or else"

I am somewhat overstating but you my point I'm sure, sadly when their is a lack of real world consequences some people are far from civil.

I really like the new Kazak minis, as much as I want to wait for USARIADNA the Russians are looking to hardcore to pass up. Could always do both since Vanilla lists are the flavor of N3

What a beaut! Definitely a step up in sculpt detail from the first mini, although I still love the pose on the old one (and the ridiculous length of the gun barrel).
