Kill them, harvest their organs, use their bodies for medical experiments.

I am sure this is going to get heated fairly quickly.

But I am sort of in a grey area when it comes to this,on one hand they are people,on the other they have commited some of the worst offences known to man so I am not really sure.If they are proven guilty and sentenced to death,then that shall be their end.Otherwise just lock them up,rotting in prison is pretty bad to.

Forced work, for the entite sentende. They' took so ,much away from the state in hearings and a bazillion hours in court. Time to pay that back by paving roads and help out wherever it's needed.

Life for murder, with the possibility of early release on licence depending on the circumstances of the crime and how well they can be rehabilitated.

Varying terms up to Life for rape, depending on the circumstances of the case.

It is a waste of money and it will be pointless to use zombies in combat. Automatons are ineffective in combat. It is far better to kill them, use their organs for those in need and to use their bodies in a productive way, like medical science or ground down as piggy food.

When we inevitably discover wrongful convictions after the punishment you have chosen to apply, what steps should then be taken? Keeping in mind that a percentage of convictions are overturned.

It always amuses me that a government which is not trusted to raise taxes is so easily trusted with the life and execution of it's citizens.

Death Penalty please. If you put them to work, that is one more job taken away from someone who could use the money. Then again isn't it pretty expensive to put them on death row? hmmmmmmmmmmm

I do like forcing them to do work for us for the rest of their lives instead. Though someone will complain about them taking our jobs or some such. In reality it saves companies money which at this current time in US history would be awesome.

I don't really the get the fixation on the very small minority of extremely violent criminals, and the horrible things we should do to them. Yes, there are people that are very, very horrible, and in a lot of cases you just can't ever let them back out into the community. Whether you kill them or imprison them seems fairly academic, once you've ensured their guilt and that they can't ever do harm again.

The bigger issue to me is how they get that way in the first place, what we can do to make sure that the harm they cause can, maybe just sometimes, be prevented. But I guess there's a need for people to have a great evil to punish, so they'd rather spend time talking about what we can do to evil-doers.

Either ban them from America, dropping them off in some other country or some island.

Or shoot them in the back of the head, quick, painless (mostly), humane.

also costs a bunch less. you can get rifle rounds at Wal Mart for pennies. a lethal injection costs tens of thousands.

I'm almost tempted to say give them the choice of what happens to them. At least some would just ask to be shot right there if they knew they would likely die 3-5 years later off Death Row. Maybe give them a chance to plead directly to the jury (with noone else able to hear or interfere, except safety precautions) if they want to live. Let them take some crappy job and the money be donated to a charity or all go straight to taxes. As long as they are in the position to do no harm again, I dunno how much it matters.

The time from being sentenced to actual execution is something closer to 15~20 years then 3-5 if I remember correctly (which is entirely probable). Even convicts that want to be executed have to wait years as lawyers argue diminished capacity or some other similar argument (basically the client doesn't really know what he's doing) that keep them alive for years.

I'd be happy enough to see the actually *gasp* executed.

But the really violent ones aren't the ones who really piss me off.

The ones I don't like are the child molesters and pedophiles.

That's just wrong.

I say, they're given a life sentence, but with the condition that their status is tattooed on their forehead and they're released into GP.
