Now im not too sure but a few staff at my lgs have let hints drop of a plastic set adressing the medusa and the collosus. Is this true? And if it is anyone have any idea of a price it might be?

Im goin start savin up just in case.

Buy a basilisk and cut off the long barrel part.

I'm planning to make a hydra using a chimera and the quad guns from planetstrike. I might also do a manticore the same way and swap the autocannons for my extra missiles from my 2 valkyries.

Possible to assume the artillery tanks become plastic kits.
Every drawing in codex IG turned out to be the new kit.

But a 18 months release schedule may let you wait some time.....

Medusa seems to have a lot in common with the basilisk, so some changes at the barrel and some minor reworks may do.

Still interested how those quad flak => hydra autocannons should be converted.

Since these quad flak is obviously smaller. Just usual autocannon size.

Just buy the aegis defence line like every other guard player its like 15 dollars off of maestorm games shipped. And it comes with some defense line terrain.

yeah the quad autocannons are short but if you have access to a worthwhile hobby store you should be able to get some plastic tubes or rods that will work good for extending them

I'm actually more interested in making a manticore out of it than a hydra, but I might try some magnets so I can have both.

sadly the hayday of the pound being that low is over, it was great when it was at 1.31. i bought two warhounds at 1.41, now the pound is up to 1.60 or so or even better now.
