If you can make a new race, What would it be? What would it look like, what would it's history be, and what would there tactics be like? (hordes, finesse, etc.)

Either a Vostroyan Army, that would have neat brown and black scheme and painted on white shoulder pad's "Czarist Russian"s with neat looking lemans that have sort of a "Steam punk" feel

like the armor looking like it's made of wood and brass.


Or i'd make a Fallen Angel Ravenwing. That's trying to kill off the Dark Angel's before they kill them.

I think 40k has pretty much enough armies already. I'd rather see existing armies have more stuff:
- Hrud, Donorian Fiends, & more Xenos for Tau
- Squats & doctrinal Platoons for IG

But if we are adding any new Codex to 40k, I'd vote for a proper, minis-supported LatD Codex based around Cultists, Mutants, and Traitors.

Failing that, I'd suggest Ad Mech with Skittari, Robots, and Knights

Just Xenos and have all the miscellaeneous alien races from Rogue Trader in it as well as rules for alien world enviroments.

I would make a mercenary army with a random amalgamation of aliens not yet represented with their own army, and small numbers of already represented units. Like having races that are known mercenaries such as the tarrelians (sp?), jokaero, hrud, niccassar (again sp?) and other things in addition to things like orks, kroot, human, and abhuman mercenaries. The already supported units would need to be chosen carefully, or you would end up with meltavets backing bikernobs, or Pedro leading a genestealer rush, or some such nonsense. The supported armies would most likely be restricted to optional choices of 1 HQ 1 or 2 Troop choices and your choice of 1 elite, fast attack, or heavy support slot, with restrictions, to represent the funding member of the army. The opprotunities to have an army that has the diversity of unit looks that is absent in almost everything but deamons really appeals to me. Things like tarrelian elite choices that are fleet or even beasts for shock troops, and hrud snipers and things to that effect actually making up its own army would make my year, and i would probably bankrupt myself in the process of making the army, but its just to cool of an idea.
