I've been watching a lot of Battlestar Gallectica while overseas and wanted to redo/make a new IG commander figure. Based off Starbuck/Tankgirl with a DKoK theme, my only problem is finding a good torso. Yes I'll post pictures of the finished product when shes done.

Was thinking about using the SoB torso from the immolator (Plastic torso), with a cadian/catachan/FW DKoK legs, or a chaos marine/SoB (filing off symbols and replacing with skulls) legs.

Head would be a SoB head with a cock eyed commander's hat from the Command Cadian box set with a respirator.

I just mainly need help with the Torso peice along with legs really. The rest will work out fine. Other ideas for the head would be awesome for now. I've been drawing up sketches on what I want her to look like.

So any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The female torso from the Dark Elf or Dark Eldar sets might work well as a base. It is very slender, but does not have the corsetted look the SoB ones have. Of course, if you want corsets (and who doesn't?) then go to it.

Do you want her in her flight gear or in officer attire ?

Some of the Eldar Guardians are female... This could require a lot of greenstuffing and "imperializing" this one-of-a-kind carapace armour, but maybe you could try it?

(Or if you want an Amazon-like commander, who's cut herself one of her own tit to aim her lasgun better, you could go for a Slaanesh Daemonette torso... Yes, she'll go with a half breast, but in the grim future, who knows what might happen huh...)

More seriously, one of the NEC Escher ganger could do the trick as well, I guess... Some of the models have their arms away from the torso, so easier to cut & convert...
